Tri-wing Triwing Screwdriver Opening Repair Tool for Nintendo Gameboy Advance, GBA SP, DS, NDS Lite

Pros: Fits DS lite, came with 00 phillips, still good after multiple uses.Cons: Handle feels a bit cheap.I was looking for a screwdriver to open up a Nintendo DS Lite and wanted something that could stand being used without having to worry about the screw or screwdriver being damaged.I was in immediate need a tri-wing screwdriver (preferably something inexpensive) and ended up ordering this specific one because it was in stock and had fairly positive reviews. There was no mention of a #00 phillips-head screwdriver in the product description but I was sent one anyway which would have been nice to know if I didn't already have this size screwdriver (there are multiple 00 size screws holding the casing together on a DS Lite).Overall I've had a positive experience with this seller and screwdriver. I received the package quickly and have no worries that this screwdriver will be able to perform any task I require of it in the future.

I was looking for a tool to remove the tri-wing screws in a Nintendo DS Lite. There were several tools on Amazon but I wasn't sure which were the right size (or if there were even different size tri-wing bits). I ordered this one, and it worked fine. It's not a great screwdriver, but it will do the job. Then again, I don't anticipate needing to use this very much so I don't need a Snap-On level tool for this job.The DS Lite has a screw in the path of one of the slots which looks difficult to reach, but this screwdriver's shaft is small enough in diameter, and long enough, that it wasn't a problem.Make sure you apply pressure straight down on the screwdriver when removing the screws, and it shold work without stripping anything.

I choose this tri-wing/Y screwdriver because I wanted one that looked and felt more... professional. I did recieve a tri-wing screwdriver but it looks nothing like the picture they use here. However for five dollars (Item cost and shipping) I am still happy. It is of good guality. I don't know where the guy with the PSP problem read it fixes them (unless Sony and Nintendo have a secret deal) it fit right into my DS lite no problem stripping screws or other worries that people seem to do.

Fits the DS. I buy craftsman and USA made tools all the time. This screw driver is no doubt China made but its pretty good quality for the several dollars paid for it. I have fixed many DS's without any trouble or stripping screws. You guys that are stripping out screw heads need to learn how to use a screw driver.

This screwdriver worked great for allowing me to repair my Wii. I had no problems using it. My biggest issue was remembering where all the screws went when I was reassembling it.

Arrived when I expected and preformed perfectly as intended! I would recommend this to others.

The screwdriver I received looks cheaper and of lower quality than the one pictured here. The one I receive was black with a long black plastic handle and a very short black shaft that's obviously been crafted with cheap metal because I've used it with extreme caution and it's still beginning to round out.

I don't understand why people are saying that this screwdriver stripped their screws, it works dine for me. I have taken apart and put back together 3 NDS lites with this screwdriver. maybe they just don't know how to properly use a screwdriver and, if thats the case then they really shouldn't be trying to repair their NDS in the first place
