This jacket is great, however, it is clearly a man's jacket designed for broad shoulders and narrow hips.I bought a Women's XL based on a few reviews that indicated it runs small, and I normally wear a women's L (US sizing). Based on this purchase it does not run small. The shoulders and arms are too loose, and when unzipped, the jacket is big on me--indicating a true women's XL, or perhaps this actually is a small Men's XL.Regardless, it is almost impossible to zip closed because the fit is too narrow around the hips. I have normally proportioned female hips, and if I were tiny enough for it to fit there, the shoulders would be comically huge.A clear solution to this problem is to have bidirectional zippers. If one could choose to zip either up or down, men could zip up and get the nice lapel effect, and I could zip downward and leave the bottom of the zipper open and flared over my hips.I will keep it because it was a good price, because the hood is detachable and I have a few other AC-style pieces the hood could work with, and because I have two males in my household who may wish to wear this. However, it shouldn't be marketed as a women's fit.

Material is not heavy. Can be used as a light jacket. Buttons are not metal they are plastic not sure how well they are going to hold up. Hood is detachable. Zippers on each side of the front work to be able to zip one side or the other with the under flap loose. Also if you plan to have the front open both flaps can be zip in the open position, but as stated closed only one flap can be zipped.Both rear flaps can be down or buttoned up as shown. Noted this because I saw one like this at a show that they where up only and the buttons where fake.

My son loves this jacket. My main question was around sizing so I’ll start there: He is tall and lean, 5’1” and 84 lbs. We got a mens Small and it’s about 2 sizes too big. A mens XS would have been better, maybe even a kids L, but I’d hate for it to be too small. Sometimes when things come from China they are sized smaller than our standard US sizing but that doesn’t seem to be the case for this.Anyway, my son loves it and won’t let me send it back so we are keeping it - It’s mostly just too long but we’ll work with it.Quality- it is good quality for a costume. By this I mean it is sewn pretty much like a normal garment and it’s a better deal than spending twice as much at a Halloween store for some piece of junk that’s not even made like real clothing. It is fully lined, the detail is good and it’s just like the pictures. The hood is cool and attaches with 3 buttons. The zippers are cool too and it can be worn two different ways. It is lightweight fabric, thus not a true jacket for regular daily wear, but it seems like it will hold up for many wears and probably survive a wash on cold/gentle. I wouldn’t dry it though.Overall we are pleased. A bit expensive for what it is, but they all are, and it’s priced competitively enough. If you’re looking for a costume I’d say go for it.

Having experience with these jackets in the past, I expected nothing more or less when I got them today. They are just as comfty, lightweight, and stylish as before. Ordered XL for both me and my girlfriend. I think she will be happy with hers as I am with mine.

I bought this for my boyfriend, who is the sort that wears a hoodie every day. I was hoping this could replace his current assassin's creed hoodie, but although the fabric is better than that thin, shiny Halloween crap, it's rather rough and thin. Obviously, it's made to be more of a costume than an actually comfotable jacket. I was hoping it was hoodie (sweatshirt) material, or at least t-shirt material, but no such luck.

Bought this in a Men's Small for my 6th grader who wears a kids size 14. It's a bit big but not comically so and I hope he can get two years out of it. Surprisingly good quality! MUCH MUCH MUCH better than any "costume." He'll pair with his own pants and borrow some boots and he's good to go as Conner! The hood is detachable and this would work for a school play involving the late 19th century such as the American Revolutionary War.

Ok, I'm a seamstress and I ordered this costume jacket for my daughter fully expecting it to be made of that cheap Halloween costume crap they call fabric. BUT when it arrived I was shocked to see that it is actually a good quality. For the buttons, they're of a mid-grade quality and will need to be reattached with a better thread (most brands do), but they're on there well enough that I have a while before I need to. Over all, I'm very impressed at the quality for the price.

I got the blue and white one with the raven tail in the back. It arrived sooner than expected and with a necklace. It fit just as I expected it to. The condition was perfect and the hood is removable. It has two pockets hidden where they are not noticeable. A recommended buy for any Assassin Creed lover.
