Work as advertised. Well worth the money!
I decided to buy this card because the resort we were staying at didn't have free WiFi. They wanted to charge $12.00 per day for Wi-Fi. The card is very simple to activate and use. Just make you put the date that you will be in Mexico (do this a few days before you travel) and pop the sim in your phone when you arrive. The signal were very strong at Riviera Maya and Playa Del Carmen. If you have questions, email Telcel and they will respond promptly. Vincent from Telcel is great. He is very helpful and responds to emails almost instantly. I highly recommend Telcel if your travel to Mexico.

No LTE or 4G with an iPhone 6+ in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen
I had coverage, hence the 3 stars, but it was ALWAYS 3G or even Edge (ie painfully slow!). I was in Playa Del Carmen and Cancun which should have had 4G or LTE. My phone didn't even offer the LTE option with this SIM only a choice of 4G, 3G, or 2G in the settings. Although I selected 4G I never got it. When I put my AT&T SIM in, the LTE option would return and it would sometimes connect to Telcel LTE (among other carriers).I wrote to them for support and they were initially quick to respond. When they couldn't fix it, they offered bonus credit which was never applied. Very disappointing.

iPhone 5S, San Luis Potosí - Great Reception and Customer Service
I purchased the 1.5 GB data package for the Telcel prepaid SIM card before leaving for my trip to Mexico. The package arrived promptly before my travel. In the package there was a set of instructions to follow in order to prepare the SIM card for use. A form is filled out with information about the SIM card and when you will arrive in Mexico. An email was sent to me after to confirm that everything was set. I briefly tested the SIM card in my iPhone 5S to see if it would activate. This is recommended in the instructions. Once I put the SIM card in my phone and saw that it was roaming on T-Mobile I set it aside. As soon as I arrived in Mexico city I placed the SIM card back in my phone and was able to receive a 4G signal immediately. The data was fast and stable. When I arrived at my final destination in the state of San Luis Potosí the connection was consistent. I was able to use the data for communication and navigation. Later on I realized that I would need minutes to contact people locally so I contacted Vincent, the support representative, for assistance. They were able to quickly guide me through how to add minutes on the website which were available within 30 minutes to 1 hour.Throughout my travel I was able to maintain a 4G/3G connection with only a few dips to Edge when I went to more rural areas. I am frugal with my data use so I have many of my apps disabled for cellular use on iOS. In the end I only used around 700MB out of the 1.5 GB capacity.I would recommend this package to anyone traveling in the state of San Luis Potosí.

It works, but it definitely wasn't 2gb
This gets 2 stars because it "worked" - however, I reset my cellular data counter on my iphone when leaving the states so it started at 0 when I got to Puerto Vallarta. I used it sparingly and had home wifi, but it stopped working on the last day of my week long trip and when I attempted to go online it prompted me to pay more. I checked the cellular data and it said 262 MB. So that was a bummer. Luckily I was headed home and did not need any more data for that trip, but had I been staying longer, I would have been rather outraged. So, fair warning to all customers.

Works great and no issues at all
SIM card worked great in Cancun. I used about 1.3GB according to my phone's usage. Used it on a Nexus 6P and had great LTE service. Went online and filled out the form and that's it. A week later, landed in Cancun and service was available before we walked off the plane into the terminal. I got the 1.5GB card for data and no voice. Used FB messenger to make phone calls. Paid $40 for 1.5GB instead of $40 from the carrier for 100mb and 100 minutes of voice.

Works without issue, what more could you want?
I was concerned about some of the negative reviews but my experience was simple and straightforward. I forgot to activate it until the day I was flying out, but it worked fine once I arrived in Mexico event though they recommend doing this 24 hours in advance. Coverage in Mexico City was consistent and 4G speeds were good on my iPhone 7, better than my friend who was using T-Mobile's free Mexico usage. The only downside was that the package didn't include a paperclip or something similar to pop out the SIM card tray from my phone so I had to buy one for $3 (couldn't find a paperclip) at the airport, but that's not really their problem.

Must Have for Travel to Mexico
I received the SIM very quickly, and the customer service I received in setting it up was very good. I have used this SIM all over Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, and Playa del Carmen with excellent results. Once you have the SIM in Mexico, you can set up the account for yourself and then top it up through a service called babblebug.com by using a U.S. credit card (for a 10% fee). It is true that you are paying for the seller to set up the SIM in Mexico and you can buyt it cheaper from Telcel directly in Mexico. However, I can assure you the amount you pay for the service is well worth not having to go to the Telcel store while you are travelling. It also takes care of the issue that most travelers will have in not having a regular Mexican address or credit card. The rates you will pay for data and phone calls will be a fraction of what you will pay roaming with a U.S. carrier.

... Mexico in the Yucatan and found that we had good signal about 90% of the time
We were vacationing in the interior of Mexico in the Yucatan and found that we had good signal about 90% of the time. In fact, it was over Election day and even though I was constantly reading Twitter posts and email for 10 days, I still had about .5GB left at the end. This was used in a Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo - I just swapped out the Verizon nano sim card for this one.
