Ten Seeds

My family has always been farmers though through the years we have done less and less. This book was a fun sweet way of explaining the lifecycle of a plant. My toddler son loves it.

Took 6 months to arrive...I'd actually forgotten about it. My toddler loves this and "reads" along. Beautiful artwork.Originally found this book in the library and my toddler loved it so much we decided to buy it for our home library.

One of my favorite spring books. I give the kids 10 seeds and they move them as we read the book. They love it.

Ten Seeds. This book is great for math and the very elaborate and realistic illustrations allow for great discussions on many levels and around many other subjects! !

This book teaches a concept that pre-schoolers need. It is done so in a manner that small children enjoy. The pictures are colorful and appealing.

This was a great addition to my collection! Illustrates the growth of plants and reviews counting down from 10 to 1. Love it!

Great story

This book is perfect for young children as it helps teaching the numbers up to 10 and at the same time explains how seeds grow. Unfortunately I bought it too late, my 3 years and half daughter did not find this book interesting. I wish i had it when she was 2, I am sure she would have enjoyed it more.

Perfect for counting / subtraction / discussing the stages of growth. Picturres full of conversational points. Lots of scope for questions and answers. Absolutely love this book.

What a lovely book! It teaches so much in such a straightforward way... The life cycle of a plant, the stages the growing plant goes through, the different little critters that damage or eat the seeds at each stage of its growth, even counting up to and down from ten. Beautiful illustrations. I will be using it with my Reception/Year one class as part of our plants topic.

Such a wonderful story. Brilliant in every way. Teaching without them knowing: plant growth, numbers, nature and animals. My kids love this book as much as I do!
