For months, I put off tiling the walls of master bath shower because the thought of using the large format (12 x 24) porcelain tile was intimidating. This leveling system worked beautifully! The clips were easy to install, kept the tiles nice level and evenly spaced Plus they were easier to remove than I thought they’d be. The pliers are sturdy, and ALL the plastic wedges and spacers are well formed so there is no waste due to poor manufacturing. Thanks to this product, the shower will be wonderful as soon as I can get it grouted.

I did tile work for 5 years, over 30 years ago, before the large format tiles became popular. Had a shower to do and saw everyone seemed to be using the spacer and wedge system. Though it was unnecessary, but bought this bundle just in case. Well I am glad I did. Spacer, wedges tool worked flawless to keep the tiles flat.I made sure the walls were as plumb as possible, but still ended up with some low spots. Also the larger tiles are prone to lippage and this system will help over come those issues. Cant see how the more expensive wedges would work any better. Spacers broke away cleanly and never failed during installation. Just Be careful not to have excess thinset under the spacer. Will buy again!Well I am glad I did. Worked flawless to keep the tiles flat.

I purchased this system because it was a great value. This was my first time tiling a floor. For the most part, the system was easy to use and worked great. The spacers were easy to place and the ratcheting level system worked well. However, some of the plastic pieces didn't sheer off low enough and small bits of plastic remained in the thinset and made it tricky in a few places to prepare for grout. There were also a few spots where the tiles weren't as level as I would have liked. I admit that those issues may have been due to user error though so I rated this item 4 stars.

I wish I had discovered this system years ago - perhaps it didn’t exist. It works really well and makes the installation of larger format tile over less than perfect surface, which is what most of us have in reality, so, so much simpler and the Finished job is 10 times better than it would have been. The push pliers are really cheaply made with no feel of quality to them but they get the job done and that is what counts. Overall, the system is simple, effective and gives very professional results, I will be using it on all future larger format tiling projects.

They're nice to use but to remove the tab from the spacer is quite difficult

I purchased these to set large tile on a floor. Having read many reviews, I decided on these and they worked just as I had hoped. They are very easy to use - a couple of tips that I learned. I found the clips difficult to put along edges unless I ensured I set them under the tiles before I set the tile down on them. Also, when ready to mallet the clips out, be sure to hit them on their sides not straight on. They break off very easy that way.

I was a little worried when I opened them because the plastic wedged are made from a thin plastic, however they worked great. I will offer one suggestion. When it comes time to break them off, leave the wedge in the clip and just give it a kick with your shoe from the side. I learned that if you take the wedges out before breaking them off, they don't break below the tile surface. After I learned that, almost all of them worked perfectly.

This spacer and wedge kit can make a weekend tile guy look pretty good. Two helpful hints:1. You have to use the wedges and the wedge clamp tool within a few minutes of setting your tile with thin set. If you let the tile sit too long the thin set will lose its "stickiness" and you will just pull up the tile completely. You have to use the wedges to level adjacent tiles pretty much immediately as your setting the tile.2. When you're snapping the tails off of the spacers when you are all done, hit them sideways so they snap off. Use something that you can smack it with pretty good but also don't scratch your tile. I use a rubber mallet.

The clips break off very easily as long as you don’t leave thin set on them, watch YouTube videos to learn how to use them. Much cheaper than buying this from the hardware store, I recommend them.

Easy to levelI have done many places and the tools its still in great shape. I would buy it again
