I purchased this as I noticed on my old MacBook the keys started to show wear and tear after significant use and I wanted to protect my new one, this product is great. I purchased the black one as I think this looks really good on the keyboard.It fits really well and doesn't move around (unless you turn your laptop upside down or air is blown under the keyboard protector.its smooth and feels nice to type on, doesn't affect the function of the keys and you can still see the backlight on the keys.

Good product

I’d rather say milky not clear. I’m not an expert so don’t always remember where everything is, so with this cover being barely see through I cannot always find a key I’m looking for. I was only using it for few hours but I’d say that the quality of a material is quite good and should last a while. Unfortunately it doesn’t stick very tight to the buttons so when I press them, the finger’s pressure leaves an ugly mark, just as if it was sweating underneath. Other than that I think it should not let any dust or liquid go through. You might find it useful as it’s not horrible and the price is very good but it’s not what I am looking for.

Great product

The packaging actually pitches that it is made from "Engineering-Grade Thermoplastic Eurethane" and that silicone is not as good. The only problem is the ad description says it is silicone and I wanted silicone and I thought I was buying silicone.The keys do not fit that great and they have what looks like sweat under them when the protector is in place... no amount of cleaning and drying etc gets rid of the sweaty keys appearance. :-(((

this is really useful to avoid dusts accumulating in the bottom of the keys which eventually cause the malfunction. it fits very well to the keyboard and no issue in closing the lid of the macbook.

Absolutely love this as having had to replace the keyboard and trackpad once already in this machine I never want to do it again. HOWEVER, this one came with what looks like too much colouring on/around the power button which really let it down. It’d be 5 stars otherwise!
