It is extremely convenient and very easy to scan and upload pages. I was already a big user of MS OneNote and the ability to send my hand written notes directly to my digital notebooks makes saving notes very simple. I love that I can jot down notes at any time and I don't have to worry about being wasteful in my notebook. I can save the page or easily erase it if it's something that I don't need to keep. The notebook is super lightweight and travels very well. I had looked into several digital options that were hundreds of dollars each but thought I'd give Rocketbook a try and I'm glad I did. I work in manufacturing and while I spend a fair amount of my day in an office setting, I find it very easy to take my Rocketbook out to the shop floor with me and I don't have to worry about getting a $500 tablet dirty. There are many facilities that I visit that do not allow cameras in the shop so that would mean that I am not able to bring a tablet or phone for notes but it is no problem to carry the Rocketbook. I have found the Frixion Ball Slim 038 to be a very nice pen for writing. The ink dries much quicker than the .7 pens. That allows me to switch from one page to another very easily. I have some pages of notes that "live" in my notebook for weeks at a time and other pages that I don't even scan and just wipe clean after using them for temporary brainstorming or explaining concepts to colleagues. I could go on further but the bottom line is that the Rocketbook Fusion is worth every penny!!!! Review: MUST BUY 5 STAR BUSINESS EXECUTIVE NOTEBOOK - I never write reviews but I love this product SO much I had to share my experience. I got the executive size Fusion. For a few dollars more it’s WELL worth it compared to the regular Everlast because you get the extra planning templates plus a mix of dot and line paper. I read that the paper is like writing on a post card. I can appreciate that comparison because the Rocketbook is glossy; however my pen would always stop working on a glossy post card...NOT the rocketbook. The Fusion pens are smooth like butter and truly does feel like writing on paper. The app is as straightforward as it gets and is freaking awesome; it can even drill down into sub folders within programs like One Note. This will be my everyday planner and would HIGHLy recommend for anyone - especially in a corporate environment. Take note of the size - this is perfect for me but they also have a full size option as well. Okay so that said I have two strong recommendations. First, I have always preferred 0.5 extra fine tip pens; the rocket book defaults to 0.7. This pen is fine and a common width in the U.S. but the 0.7 makes my handwriting look better and DRIES faster (5 seconds versus 10-15). desertcart carries them in a multiple packs; I ordered the 3 pack of red black and blue with 9 refills. Big bargain. These pens originate from japan and are the real deal. Word of caution as with all frixon pens - don’t expose to temps 140degree or the ink will fade. You download the rocketbook app to your phone or device. You write in your rocketbook (with special paper) with a Frixion pen (came with mine). You designate the icons at the bottom of the page for wherever you want your document to go. For example: gmail. When you are finished writing your doc, you hold your device phone over the rocketbook page centering your device over the page. Rocketbook will scan, take picture and read the icon at the bottom of your page, and send the doc to gmail. When you go to your gmail, the doc will be there in two forms. pdf form (not ocr), and in ocr. Try to write as legibly as you can so that the characters are clear when they are translated. I downloaded the rocketbook ocr text with google docs . You can then edit and save your document. I tested my handwriting and printing and both are hard to read, but of course, since it is my handwriting, I can make necessary changes. I haven't used it too much yet so this is just the basics. I would like the calendar, to-do list, etc., but I need mostly lined pages.** A: You should check out the video they posted on the last slide of the pictures above! It shows every page. I believe it said 18 dotted and 18 lined as well as 7 pre planned worh like the calendar and such. **Q: Are there blank pages? The photo shows a blank page and the description says sketching pages, but the template does show a blank and it's not listed.** A: I just received mine earlier this week. Beyond the first six pages, all of which are templated for tasks, ideas, schedule, etc, the rest are all blank pages. I am not certain whether that is a good thing at this point. I have to explore the uses more before a make judgement.
