*update, quite some time later, it still works.since gaining a ton of weight, now 350lbs, double what I was before (thyroid issues), the cuff does still fit with room left. i check the plug and little hose everytime, as some people have had issues. as i've found, as long as you have the cuff in the right place, it is accurate, otherwise, it's way off. when i startedngetting crazy readings, I'd test it on my husband, then check my on both arms, and realized it was way off because of where the cuff was! so I moved it down and it is accurate again, just like the doctors office. if I put the cuff on normally, it literally keeps adding air until the blood flow stops, well, with fat upper arms, it obviously squeezes the fat part first, and then eventually cuts off the blood supply, but not the way it's intended to. it's errored a few times because the cuff wasn't sitting correctly. but, it's still functioning well, and still charges lovely.Totally worth it! I checked everyone's blood pressure and it's quite accurate as long as you put it on right and don't move around (or talk)... it literally talks to you and tells you what not to do before it starts doing its thing. It also tells you your numbers and then tells you what range it's in. It also has a color coded line showing you where you're at... starts with green, which is normal range and then it eventually goes to yellow and then eventually red (high range - not a good thing if you're taking meds for high blood pressure lol). Its rechargeable(through usb), how could you not love that, no more batteries, YAY! We are big people and it fit our arms with tons of room leftover. I didn't even bother reading the instructions yet, I just had to make sure it worked like it is supposed to, and it does and then some! Very impressed so far (got an error once and realized it wasn't places right on my upper arm (it literally has a picture of where to put it and a line showing you where it should line up to your artery/vein/blood vessel/whatever). I should note that the ONLY thing that has bothered me is the cuff itself and trying to put it on.. it's so big that you have to put it on in facing away from the artery line/picture just to get it eventually line up (when you tighten it), it slides alot. then again, I've NEVER done it before, I'm not a nurse or anything remotely close to it.. though I have years of experience with a blood pressure wrist cuff. I will definitely update with more information if need be.

i read the instruction manual before using the monitor. Even though after reading the manual , the test results were not accurate. My wife tested her blood pressure & OK. She suggested that i hold my arm vertical when installing it. Since then no other problems. Repeat accurate BP readings. I was contacted the company's customer service rep. and told her that the arm cuff was hard to install for me (large cuff). The rep. offered my money back, or, partial money back & they will ship a smaller cuff. I chose the smaller cuff and look forward to receiving it.

My 2nd purchase of the Etekcity product and i’m not disappointed so far. Delivered fully charged and ready for immediate use. Voice readings is a plus. Build quality and materials used are very good. Comes with a storage bag. Last but not the least - USB C charging connector is future proof and reversible.

This device is very easy to use, it talks BUT- I can sit still, keep the cuff at heart level, and take my BP sitting still with a clear mind... and still... back to back I will get three very different numbers. So, I take it three times and look for the mean. I don't trust it more than 70% accuracy.

The cuff is enormous. I have small arms and it can be difficult to wrestle with the cuff as I wrap it around 3 times. Wondering if there is a small cuff I could order? I tried my cuff from my old unit but it wasn’t compatible. Otherwise seems to do the job.

Bought for monitoring my blood pressure during pregnancy. I have low blood pressure and always feel nauseous. It's convinient to monitoring daily at home. The measurement is accurate comparing with my doctor visits. I also like the audible instructions as a bonus. It's really a cost effective product. Thumbs up.

Disappointed with this product. I needed a backup BP monitor for my disabled son. He is a small adult and the monitor is not fitting or working correctly for him. It works for me and one of his nurses, but every time I try to use it for him, the monitor says no battery. If the cuff is the problem, then the info should have stated who should buy the BP monitor.
