The monocular is a lightweight easy to handle scope with decent magnification and easy to focus. It has a nice quick release lanyard and canvas case. If we were to stop there this would get a 5 star review but it also comes with a mini tripod and an adaptor to be used with a smartphone camera.Let’s start with the tripod. It works fine for the lightweight monocular but let’s face it you are not going to use it with just the scope. When you attach the phone and adaptor the little guy just wants to collapse, subtly now but I am sure moreso with more use. Also the handle on the clamp knob fell off after one use.The adaptor is not bad for phones with only one camera if you have a newer phone with multiple cameras such as an iPhone X it is not functional since the camera changes with zooming. I did use it with a iPhone 6plus and it worked well.In conclusion the monocular is nice and convenient but the Tripod is poorly made and not that useful.

It’s hard to argue with the value of this lightweight monocular. Compact and very easy to use, it is a great addition to my kayaking gear. I’ve been used to carrying heavier binoculars, which have proven inconvenient and cumbersome. This waterproof monocular may lack the binocular’s wide field, but it provides a crisp clean view at half the weight. I’ll recommend it to my kayaking and birding friends.

Product is not what I expected. If not for its price, I would give it a 2. The hardware to attach your phone so you can take picture kept falling off. Also, when I used it during my camping trip to take picture using my phone attach to it, it is not the whole screen but just a little circle.

Just pure junk. I can nearly see daylight through the eye piece. And in no way shape or form is it 12 power , more like 4 power , that’s if you can even see an image . Don’t waste your money .

Very clear optics, especially considering the price. The instructions could be more clear, but it’s not too hard to figure out on your own.
