Astromania M54X0.75 Male to M48X0.75 Female Thread Telescope Adapter

Used between QHY Large Filter wheel (54mm) and SVBONY 80MM ED telescope and 0.8x flattener (48mm). Threads were smooth, no noticable quality issues. Happy with the product. Would recommend!

Used to replace the Player 1 adapter for the Max Filter Drawer when I moved it to AT 60EDP (Petzval) scope. The scope does not have sufficient in focus travel to accommodate the taller oem adapter. The low profile Astromania adapter cured the problem.Why didn't I give it a five star rating? It might be just the feel in the hand, as if the walls are a bit thinner than the oem part and the finish not quite as nice. But the threads seem good and it works. I have other Astromania adapters, and they all seem fit for use.

This did solve the problem but I will note that the 52mm side has threads that are a bit difficult to engage. While it works, I have seen similar threads that engaged much more easily.

I got this to use on my Skywatcher 72ED as an adapter for the focuser - it fits / works great. I have it in my focuser allowing me to screw a flattener and camera directly to it via the M48 threads (no more tightening screws) - ideal for those who don't want to chance the screws loosening off and your expensive eyepiece/camera sliding out of the focuser when the scope is pointing up.

I have an ED72 with the m48 adapter and needed an m54 adapter for my reducer to screw onto it. this adapter is perfect. Many thanks
