Lucky Star 8

If you have read Lucky Star up to this point you probably already know how good it is. This book is as good as all the rest and I can't wait till volume 9 is released.

This is a manga about the main characters starting college. It is so funny, just like the other volumes that came before it. This latest volume continues the themes and humor from the early mangas. I can't wait for volume 9.

Most of the book is the typical Lucky Star which I enjoy. Readers may want to be aware that this volume has a selection of comics, about 25 pages worth, which were essentially advertisements in Kadokawa Hotline (which I think was also the case in volume 5). If you liked those, this shouldn't be a problem. If you're like me and find these boring, you'll probably be disappointed that these comics take up such a large portion of the book.

The books in general have a very slice of life vibe and it does expand a little on the lucky star storyline in some areas. The art is cute and the character designs are quirky and sweet. It's a lovely book series.

A classic series but poorly translated, and on older kindle generations with 800x600 resolution (such as kindle touch), utterly illegible.
