History, Mystery and Fudge
Once again Christine DesMet has proven to be an A-list cozy author with Five Alarm Fudge. Being a transplant to Wisconsin, I have visited Door County and enjoyed the sumptuous fudge made by its residents. Her characters are realistic, funny and still manage to find themselves in the most precarious positions. Though this stands up well by itself, I suggest you get the first of the Fudge Shop series so you can get acquainted with Ava, Sophie and Gilpa as they sweeten your taste for your first fudge mystery.

I liked this book I hadn't read the previous books in ...
I liked this book I hadn't read the previous books in the series I just jumped in on this one. The beginning was so slow I almost put it down but since I don't do that I kept pushing thru then I was delighted. This was a hit to 2nd base for me!

I could not put this book down
Five Alarm Fudge had me riveted to my chair from start to finish. Ava once again finds herself in the middle of a murder that she can't resist to solve with some help from her friends. This books has so much happening that I could not put it down. In this book you have royalty, a possible hidden recipe and a town full of suspects. So take a comfy seat, get out your chocolates and settle in for a fabulous read.

Devine Fudgey Goodness.
The third installment of the Fudge Shop series doesn't disappoint. A little slow at the beginning but quickly picks up and entertains the rest the way through. Will have to try the recipes at the end one of these days. :)

Good book. Like the characters a lot. I found the plot to be a little far-fetched. Was kept guessing til the end.

Murder and fudge. What a great combination.
Loved this series of books by Christine DeSmet. Wonderfully written and very entertaining. Couldn't wait to find out what mischief AM and PM were going to get themselves in!

This story is more about family and community.
Very interesting story about Belgiums and some history and traditions.
