awesome
I love this book.. it gave some additional insight to some completed climbs and found a few new ones. There’s a lot of great data/research and some background information.

Great reference for road bike climbs
While the hardest climb I've done is usually the last one or the next one, this book lays out some objective critieria and ranks climbs in the southeastern US. For the climbs I have done, the descriptions seem pretty accurate. For climbs I have not done, the book tells me where to find them and what to expect in terms of length, average and steepest grades, etc.The list of 14 organized rides (e.g. mountain centuries) with "significant climbing" is also nice, although it includes at least one that seems to no longer exist and some where the URL's have changed (but can easily be found through a web search).

Could use address' for starting points and many streets are mislabeled. Could use some user submitted revision system!

Small handy volume for SE cyclists
Useful addendum to the author's national edition, I live in North Georgia and there are a number of great climbs enumerated in the text. Let the suffering begin!

To the Point
Want mountains to climb? They're here. Descriptions are brief, though, so don't expect a lot more than the basic facts. You'll need to create your own cue sheet in some cases, but if you want a great list of great rides, this is it.

Great resource
This little book is a great resource for those looking for the most challenging climbing in the Southeast. There is a wealth of data on each climb.
