Don’t listen to any review that says it doesn’t stay on. Those people DID NOT follow the directions on the bag that came with the cover. It clearly states how to do it, it’s very easy, and takes less than two minutes. It’s on securely! I ordered the Frost Clear option and it came with TWO DIFFERENT keyboard covers...one for each style of MacBook Pro (with or without TouchPad). Also to note, the keyboard covers that came with mine DO allow the lights to shine through clearly. I cannot speak for other colors ordered, though. The Frost Clear has a nice rubberized feel for anti-slip and anti-fingerprint effect. I think all but the Crystal Clear are like that. I’m very happy with this purchase. Well worth the price! Great value!

I had a hard time picking which case to purchase from different sellers because of the mixed reviews. This product had the most reviews and highest average star count, so I tried it.Color isn’t like it’s described or pictured. I tried my best to show the true color on my picture; Serenity Blue is definitely more of a lavender/purple. (I personally wanted light purple and bet on the color being off so it was okay for me).Another thing is that I got two keyboard skins. Of course the color is completely different from the case color. The weird thing though is that I got one with the top row of keys and one without (see image). Not sure I will even use these skins.Not sure what this would do for protection against a drop but I got it mainly for keeping my Mac clean and scratch free.Overall pretty happy with the purchase.

IT FITS SNUGLY. For those that posted videos and reviews saying the bottom panel is too short, or that it just slides off... you just didn't put it on properly. The bottom is meant to be a bit short so that it can open properly, and the whole thing is snug if you simply pay attention to the slight protrusions that clip neatly to the MacBook. Also, the clip side of the bottom panel needs to be put on first which allows the "clips" to sort of hinge on while you snap the opposite end down, creating a great seal. The keyboard cover is just a loose cover but it doesn't move around, and yes if you have your keyboard lights set very bright then you'll notice a misalignment of the lettering. I guess the only other con is that there are no instructions with the package, you have to look at the product detail page or just figure it out like I did. But overall everything is lovely and you can't beat the price! Five stars! Note: I did not get paid nor did I receive any free products or incentive for this review. I'm just happy with the product.

2016 MacBook Pro without Touch Bar A1708. The case fits perfectly and it's lightweight. At first I thought the bottom part didn't fit. It kept sliding off but when I was looking through my emails I noticed the company had sent me instructions on how to put the case on correctly. It says not to slide it on but something along the lines of attaching the back first and then the front snaps on. Hope this helps.

At first I thought... hmmm... "it doesn't seem to fit right... the bottom kept sliding off." not falling off but actually sliding off.But it was because I was trying attach it from the front to the back when the bottom part has to be attached from the back first then snap it in the front. The top part was easier to install.I like the pink color. In some lighting it looks like a rose gold. then in some lighting it shows the subtle pink that I like.I also like the frosted color look.. like a matte translucent finish. it's not the shiny glossy translucent type case.it comes with 2 keyboard covers. at first I thought I got extra. But it turns out they have two (2) to make sure you get the right keyboard cover for your macbook. I have a macbook with the touchbar. So when i first saw the F-keys on the first cover... i felt a bit disappointed. Then I looked at the second one. The second one didn't have any F-keys and fit nicely on my keyboard. I like how it feels when I type too.I wasn't much fond of the pink keyboard cover at first.. because in some cases it looked a little bit more red.. but to be honest it's more raspberry color. So far, for the price, it seems like a good buy.To go back to the bottom part of the case, it snapped on nicely. But I had to remove it because I have an adapter for my thunderbolt to USB plus HDMI connector. Only because the adapter is not connected all the way because of the case.But I will definitely snap it back on when I go for my future trip to protect the macbook from scratches.

This is not exactly as pictured. The plastic cover on the top covers the apple logo -- the cover is not transparent and does not allow the logo to show.The bottom cover snaps on when you slide it according to the directions on the packaging. However, it is not an edge to edge fit. There is a gap where the computer lid hinges to the computer bottom.The keyboard cover is useless. It does not line up properly with or around the keys interrupting any ability for sooth keystrokes. And, if your keys are backlit, it completely covers so the lighting on each key cannot no show through.Overall, the case itself Is functional enough for the price to not go through the hassle of sending back. They keyboard cover provides no added value whatsoever, so if you are looking at this or another case, this is not a case I would heartily recommend.** Update: After thinking about it, I decided the fit of the cover itself and the keyboard cover were too annoying to keep and sent item back. Wound up finding another cover that was less expensive and fits MUCH better with a keyboard skin that fits better as well.

Better than the other similar ones but still cracks if not careful

Took a VERY long time to come. About a month HOWEVER the case is excellent. Feels lovely and smooth, strong and protective. Although the keypad protector is a little sticky which is annoying. I've had better ones in the past that don't feel as clunky. I would suggest getting an additional keypad protector from a company specialising in this as its pretty annoying.

I love this case. It came in 2 days, feels so nice and is really good quality. Looks exactly like the picture. The keyboard covers protects the keyboard well too. Definitely recommend!!

The bottom tray thingy keeps on sliding off

Really nice aspect and texture. A small mistake on the marble imitation but nothing major. You can actually see it on the picture of you zoom. There is a lighter line on the imitation.
