A little too small and (oddly) also a little too large
The aperture is too small to fit duck eggs or jumbo eggs, and too large for quail eggs. With regular "large" eggs you have to hold the egg very tight or the teeth slide off the top without cutting

Didn't hold up
Poorly made, after a few uses it fell apart. Not as sturdy as I had hoped.

My favorite egg cutter
This is the second egg-cutter I bought. My sister came to visit me and liked my egg-cutter so much that I gave it to her as a present. Then, I bought a fancy (dumb) egg cutter to replace this one that I gave away. That new fancy thing didn’t work. So I came back and bought this egg cutter. I like it because it works even when your soft boil egg is hot out of the water.

Cheap crap that took 2 months to get here and immediately fell apart.
Piece of junk! It took 2 months to get here and then 1 of the 4 sets of teeth did not retract after the first time it was used! Then the spring popped off and it fell apart. I had one of these types of soft boiled egg top trimmers in Europe, which I used for 20 years without issue! This is cheaply made and a total waste of your consideration. I will seeking out a quality, European-made egg topper.

Killer egg killer!
This thing decapitates soft boiled eggs like no other. Eggs get scared when I come at them with this thing!

Eggsactly what I wanted!
This little thing is perfect for slicing of the top of a soft boiled egg, and it doesn't take up any room at all in an already overstuffed kitchen drawer. I have arthritis in my knuckles and hands, but this is easy to use.

Not well made
I'm giving this one star because it broke right away, like the day we tried it out. It was hard to use and I don't think it is an actual egg cracker. There is another style that you slap down on the top and that works way better.
