UPDATE: After our initial review, the vendor quickly got a hold of us to make things right. They worked with us and gave us a great solution that left us feeling like they really cared about the problem, not just about the review. When we replace the next set of ink cartridges, we'll definitely be working with them again.Original: We received both cartridges, in great shape - the problem is that one of the two wouldn't read. The chip wouldn't recognize, so it the printer just kept saying "bad cartridge". After reading some reviews online of generic cartridges online, figured that it may just be the failure rate of generic re manufactured cartridges has issues - but still, one out of two works just fine, and honestly it can be reloaded with one of the syringe & ink type reloads as well, as the chip constantly reads full so ... still worth the purchase. Just irritating that the second one didn't read, and that I had to work around by reloading the second cartridge with ink.

I bought 2 cartridges; the 1st one worked fine, the 2nd work is not working & I keep getting an error message. The one that worked, worked good. But good luck. I am tired of buying replacements and half of them not working.

I was anxious to use this brand and compare it to HP ink. I've only used 2-3 of each cartridge so my assessment is limited. I am not getting as many copies as I got from the HP cartridges. The color doesn't appear quite as vivid except for the first few pages printed. The price is right. I have to compare the production with the cost.....will do after I've used more cartridges of the Kogain brand.

I have purchased several of these cartridges. They are a very good value for the price, and I cannot tell any difference in print quality between these cartridges and the OEM ones. There is, perhaps, a little less ink than the comparably sized OEM cartridges, but I did not conduct a scientific test of that. I had one occasion where the printer would not let me install a cartridge. I sent an email, received a prompt response, and a new replacement cartridge arrived in just a couple of days. I was impressed with the customer service, and will continue to purchase cartridges from this company.

The XL is not an XL cartridge. It's actually two regular cartridges but somehow the manufacturer deemed it permissible to say XL. so you have to change the cartridge twice instead of once. Print quality is not as sharp as an HP cartridge but not bad.

NOT SURE YET ABOUT LONGEVITY, HOWEVER, THE MONEY VALUE WAS GREAT. THE INSTALLMENT OF THE ITEM WAS VERY EASY. WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT LONGEVITY.

These are great if you print frequently. They will dry out of you don’t use them often.

Order and delivery process went smoothly. Once I replace my printer cartridge, I will revisit my review with results.
