Too thin
I got it to use for golfing, but I opened it up and it is a thin nylon fabric that lets the heat through. Playing in a tournament Monday and it is really hot, so very disappointed

good quality, fast opening, but very hard to close it
This was a nice compact umbrella that fits in a carrying case, prefect to keep in my car or even in my diaper bag. it seems like a durable heavy, duty, umbrella. Looking at the material you can tell the material is made of good quality. The fabric is thick and does not look like it would tear. The size seems like its big enough for two people standing very close together of course. What I found very unique about this umbrella is the curvature. The arch has a more lower curve, that would help with windy rain hitting you from the sides. The umbrella opens very quickly and powerfully, almost the fastest i've seen on an umbrella. Its intense. But I didn't like how hard and heavy it seemed pushing the umbrella back down to close it. I struggled to close it and had to use two hands which seems it would be very inconvenient especially during a rainstorm.I received this product at a discounted price so that I may give my honest opinion and review. I hope this helps.

Favor the ergonomic handle!
This is a nice size travel umbrella and seems to be of good quality. 2 people could fit under if necessary. The handle is ergonomic and VERY comfortable to hold. The automatic open and close are nice features especially when getting in and out of the car or carrying a little one. I added two pictures of the "light reflecting" part. When I took the last 2 pictures, the lights were completely off and I used the flash to see where the reflection shows. The top button and the tips of the ribs are what reflect the light. I received a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion. I rely heavily on reviews myself and try my best to offer helpful information for others.

Pretty awesome umbrella! I JUST got a different one for myself and it was great, but I ordered this one for my girl friend and I'm a little jealous. Both were auto-open/collapse which is super handy but the thing I envy about hers is the little reflective bits and the rubberized coating on the handle. We haven't had an opportunity to use it at night so I can't say for sure how well the reflective bits work but it's nice knowing they're there. As for the rubberized handle, it's really comfortable in the hand. Her hands are much smaller than mine so this handle works well for her. It's a little small for me and would be somewhat less stable on a blustery day which is why I chose a different model with full size handle for myself. I chose this umbrella for her based on the following 5 criteria:1. She likes the color, who am I to argue?2. The handle is a good size for her (although not really for me)3. The reflective bits which offer a little more safety4. I received a discount in exchange for testing the product and providing an honest/unbiased review.5. The auto feature. Not entirely necessary. I mean, how hard is it to open an umbrella? But, it is more convenient

It is very easy to hold and operate with 1 hand
One of the 1st things I noticed about this umbrella is it's solid construction and smooth, ergonomic handle design. It is very easy to hold and operate with 1 hand. Closing it requires a bit more effort, a good push on the top is needed.The protective sleeve it came in is unique in that it has an attached handle. (See picture)It's an attractive umbrella with a maroon color.The most striking feature is the reflective "teardrops" on each outside spoke.I took it in a darkened bedroom to see its reflective features (see pic).I was surprised to see the tiny reflective dots that showed up on the surface. They are not noticeable unless light is shining on them. Very neat feature.I felt it would definitely be a plus on rainy nights where cars are traveling.This is the first umbrella I have seen with this much needed quality.Overall, it's a nice size and the safety features are a huge plus.I received this umbrella at a special rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
