Less stinky, less messy, less hassle
I've used a traditional litter box with a scooper previously for my 2 cats. It was always a messy situation even with a cover over it. With this box I never actually have to touch the litter. It doesn't seem to stick to the bottom at all if you keep enough litter in there and clean often, as you should. And cleaning is much easier and faster. Just turn it and dump it in a bag. The cats don't seem to dig as much or track litter out of it either. Only problem so far is that the trap's teeth are a little too wide apart and don't trap the smaller pieces that break off the larger clups, but it's really not a problem unless you're crazy OCD. I also noticed that because it's easier and faster to clean I'm actually dumping the litter more frequently instead of it gathering in the box. There's also less odor because of the litter not sticking to the bottom and mixing itself when you turn it and cleaning more often. Dumping and replacing all the litter is also way easier because of the dump port on the back of the drum. You just remove the cap and pour it out through a small opening into a bag or trash can and nothing gets spilled. Lastly, before I actually purchased it I read all the negative reviews that say it leaks and leaves urine eveywhere. I can only assume that those people didn't line up the two pieces of the walls properly or didn't tighten the screws enough because I haven't had that issue at all so far. If you have that issue maybe you can try to put a piece of electrical tape along the seem and I don't think there will be any leaks.

WARNING
The product was warped and did not fully screw together so small amounts of litter spilled out when turning. This is NOT for adult cats. The entry is so small an adult cat will not fit. After further reviews this has cancer causing elements in the plastic ! DO NOT purchase this product.

P Love the idea though
I think it isn't worth trying if you are introducing it to a grown cat. It is just too different from what they are used to, and if your cat is older, and on its way to chubbiness at all, it will really not do well with it.Issues we had:Pee would clump to the walls, and not come loose. You would have to turn it slowly, pounding on the top as you went, trying to dislodge it.Cats would kick litter out through the hole.Cat stopped using it. Clearly, this was the biggest problem. ;PLove the idea though! Like I said, if you have a new kitten, totally give it a go. Otherwise, it is an expensive experiment!

NOT for bigger cats
Works great as intended, but is rather small. Good for cats less than 2 years old, but too small for full grown cats.

Great concept, but the actual product left a lot to be desired
Saw all the videos about his product and thought it would be a great way for our cat to use the litter box without getting litter everywhere. My husband and I were so excited when it arrived, as we'd finally not be ashamed to have people walk into our hall, where the litter box is in the front closet. After reading the instructions and the reviews to see if there were any recommendations, we put the litter box out and filled it to the recommended line with litter. Our cat is pretty easy going, so he had no trouble using the box. But the humans had such a difficult time.Spinning the box was fine, but trying to get the handle out was so difficult, part of the handle broke the first time we pulled it out. Even though we smacked the sides again and again to get the excess litter off the handle, when we pulled it out, litter went everywhere. It was actually worse than our previous litter box. We duct taped the handle so it would not break further and decided to give the box a few weeks for us to get used to emptying it. Well, it's been a few months actually, and the handle has broken completely, litter seeps through the gaps when we turn it, and we have finally given up and gone back to our original litter box, which is just a plain old box. We'll keep an eye out for a newer, updated version of this litter box though. Good concept...

Best litter box ever!
I recently adopted an indoor-only cat from a friend, somewhat to the dismay of my live-in boyfriend. He loves cats, but HATES litter boxes (the smell) and prefers cats to use the bathroom outdoors. So as a compromise, I told him I would buy the best litter box ever! I wanted a litter box that was easy to clean out twice a day, had a "cover" or "roof", and wasn't too big. I live in a very small place, and there's no room in my bathroom to place a litter box, so I needed something I could put out in plain sight without looking like there was a toilet in my living room! After much research, I decided that the Litter Spinner was the right option for me. It has not disappointed!! It is the perfect size for my 9 pound kitty, no one realizes it's a litter box, it's soooo easy to clean, and I haven't had any problems with smell (it could be the research I did on litter too--I went with Precious Cat Cat Attract Problem Cat Training Litter).4 stars because of two issues: The initial instructions were unclear and I filled it with too much litter, so it wasn't filtering through the grates (just going over it) and spilling out the front of the box. The second problem is that my cat has very small feces, and the grates are too large to catch it all.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase! I have already recommended it to several friends! It seems very sturdy, it was easy to assemble, and it is easy to use on a daily basis. Make sure you read the instructions, and you won't have any issues with grate spillage (bang on it a few times in the 1 o'clock position before pulling out the catcher). Also, when filling it with litter for the first time, less is more! Fill it a little bit to see if it can easily filter through the grates without being to large of a pile to go over it.You can also buy it in several different colors which is nice (I went with all black). I'm also happy to say that with Amazon Prime, this was the best price around!
