I have been using this product for years. Although it is a bit expensive, it is still worth the price. Try to buy on sale . The oil last a long time. After you apply it, the oil soaks into your skin.and relieves your tired and painful muscles. I especially use it on top of my knees and all around my legs. It decreases the pain in your joints also . I highly recommend this product of anyone who has pain . The oil is definitely a pain reliever. It is stored in a blue colored glass bottle. They have improved the screw top lid making it easier to open and close. Buy it if you have any muscle aches … you won’t regret the purchase.

Works great on sore muscles

Top quality oil that absorbs well into skin. No greasy or slick residue. Pleasant scent. Offers true muscle relaxation. I mixed with scentless body lotion & rubbed on my thighs & knees in the months before hip replacement surgery. My legs had deep pain and this provided temporary relief.

I came across this product for the first time during a spa treatment on a cruise. It was used during a massage. I like how easily my skin absorbed it and the lightweight feeling afterwards. I didn't feel like I was wearing a heavy layer of oil. My skin felt moisturized. Only thing though, it was ridiculously pricey on the ship sooo I tried to find it cheaper on Amazon and wallah, I did. And, I bought it. And, I'll buy it again. Oh, let me add, I haven't used it after a workout like the item suggests so I can't comment on how it helps ease muscle tension or anything related.

This product was very helpful to the stiffness in my ankles and knees.

Though I think it is too expensive, it's a really good product.

I first tried this on sore muscles during a massage on a cruise ship something like 20 years ago. It worked great then, and it works great now--both the current product and my 20 year old bottle. It seems expensive, but when you consider you are essentially buying a lifetime supply, it's comparatively inexpensive. Suppose you have exercised too hard, or you over did it raking leaves, and you have an intense burning pain in your muscles. Rub literally a couple drops into the painful area and the pain disappears almost instantly. You are functional again. Now and then, when you've gone too far, you use a couple drops of this stuff. So how long do you suppose a bottle is going to last? A LONG time! And since it's a plant oil it doesn't seem to go bad with time. Yes, I have purchased a second bottle. I've shared the original bottle with relatives and it's still making the rounds, so I bought a replacement. The original was still more than half full! Is it a good money making item? Probably not, since you will likely never use it all. But I'm really glad it exists! It's not a cure-all. It doesn't help with nerve pain, bad discs in the back and neck, etc. But it's not made for that. It's made for tired, overworked muscles. And for THAT it never fails. That's been my experience, for what it's worth. EDIT: I've read some other reviews and it looks like I have used less than some. But I'm not a pro athlete, and I only use the minimum amount necessary to get relief. I think that's a good philosophy--use as little as is necessary. But if you only use a few drops at a time, and only now and then, do the math... it's going to last a long time.

I didn't find it to be soothing on muscles. It has a nice smell and feels good on skin after a shower.

Really like this product. Subtle scent, a little goes a long way and skin is left feeling soft and smooth. This product does have a relaxing effect on muscles, in my opinion. Lovely colour of bottle, only criticism is the screw cap on the top - really fiddly to use - even more so when you inevitably end up with the oil on your fingers. That’s the only thing I wish was different about this product.
