If used on a wood fire be prepared to soak the plank at least half a day before using! Even used on the lowest wood fire they turn black and may not be used again. I asked the store manager where I purchased mine and she agreed, telling me she only used the one she had at low temperatures in her oven. Lastly they must be scrubbed after using or mold will soon appear.
