Easy to use, quiet clean with decent power.
Probably one of the best purchases I've had on Amazon period.Pros,1. Battery life; battery life is decent last about 45-1hr, charges quickly...... not bad for 48v. On top of that they're interchangeable with a mower, pole saw, blower and other tools.2. Lightweight; I've operated it with one hand to show off its features to my neighbor and I didn't struggle(I don't endorse doing that I did just to demonstrate how easy it is to use).3. No gas or oil polluting your yard, no clumsy cable with the older electric trimmers.4. Easily foldable and stores easy.5. QuietCons,1. Not a professional tool; could it do fine for private use? yes, more than fine. Commercially however, with battery life 45 min, and barely passing material used to build it, it's not rugged enough to stand up to the abuse of day in day out commercial operations.Could you use it commercially, yes but some planning is needed, including purchasing 4 separate batteries and charging them all the day prior. Just judging on battery price alone it's not financially expedient. It's a big headache and you're better off with a gas trimmer with a lawn maintenance business.2.batteries get hot; if the battery gets hot, it cannot charge until it cools, I popped it in the freezer and came back 20 minutes later it was still slightly warm. They get that hot.3. Should come with more than one battery; if you got a small yard, no prob, but if you got a yard anything large, you're going to need more than one battery to do the edges and trimming. One battery for a large yard is simply not enough.4. Battery prices; these batteries can run you anywhere from 75-150 dollars a pop depending on the Ah of the battery. Not a dealbreaker, but they could give a better deal on the batteries.

This can cut through fairly heavy grass
I was very impressed with the build quality when I assembled the unit. I knew I'd need two batteries, so I bought an extra. I have a lakefront property with lots of trees. On low power, the Snapper handles all but the thickest stuff. It's easy to handle and just works great. I'm very happy with it.

Great trimmer
Coming from a gas powered trimmer, it was jarring at first not having as much power as with the gas trimmer. You quickly realize this trimmer is more than adequate in fulfilling the everyday household trimming needs without the need to mix up fuel and deal with all the other tangibles that come with gas power. The battery power is more than good for my small yard, able to do all the trimming in one charge. Be aware the 30 minute charge they state is accurate in my experience so if your trimming takes longer, or you regularly have a lot of heavy weeds to trim, you may need to look for a second battery or alternate trimmer.I am more than satisfied with this trimmer, only knock I would give is having an edging feature like so many other models have would have been a nice touch that I find would be helpful with my sidewalks.

Works great and would recommend
Great tool. Love how light weight it is. It's a bit long for me (I am 5'4) but I can manage it well. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a battery powered weed whacker.

Good string trimmer - battery could be better
The trimmer works well. It is light weight and easy to use. In hindsight, I wish it came with a stronger - longer lasting battery. The 2.0 battery only runs about 30 minutes on high speed setting and I get about half of my yard trimmed before the battery quits. Get an extra battery or a more powerful battery if you have a lot of trimming to do.

Great Cordless Weed Eater
Very easy to use and battery life is great - cuts very well although battery is huge and can be heavy to hold after 30 minutes of cutting.

Snapper electric weed eater problems.
Did not like the way the weed eater line wrapped on spool. This operation is difficult and comes unwound before you get the spool back in place and comes unwound. Seems to have sufficient power although battery life is shorter than I would like. For the money I was hoping for better. Another concern is it can only use one size of line.
