A classic
One of the land mark work books at the time. It’s great to have one back in my collection

Helpful and comprehensive
A slightly old and outdated but comprehensive work on total wellness. The author covers every major area and argues effectively - with research and evidence to support - the total interconnectedness of human physiology, psychology, spirituality, etc. If one realm is unhealthy, the others will be affected. I had to read this book for a class, but it was refreshing to read something by an author who is willing to speak the truth when it comes to health; that is, there are no magic bullets. So many authors are making money saying that there is.Docked one star from five due to some outdated information and a section with an over-focus on stretching/relaxation positions.

This book is a great refer when trying to stay fit. I do recommend this book for health inquirers. I didn't want to use the word freak.
