Problem solved!
My husband had cataract surgery last year that resulted in 20/20 distance vision. For the first time in his life, he couldn’t read up close without generic readers. He was frustrated all day with needing readers that were not handy, and I got tired of the fussy, “I can’t read it without my glasses.” He is absolutely thrilled to always have his readers available with this gizmo! He has thanked me a dozen times (the trio was a stocking-stuffer) and happy to have them handy at work all day without having to remember to pack and carry his reading glasses from meeting to meeting, something a person that doesn’t struggle with this vision limitation just wouldn’t get. It may seem minor, but it’s a simple tool with a significant impact and works really well.

Too stiff, too heavy.
The straps on these l Elegant Eyeglass straps were too stiff and too thick. Instead of just hanging down unobtrusively from the eyeglass frames, these straps would sort of bow out when you turned your head slightly, thus coming into your peripheral vision. It was annoying. I think they're a little too sturdy for their intended task, I mean, eyeglasses are relatively lightweight items. This strap was unnecessarily heavy weight. I returned. I gave three stars as they DID do their job, and they looked like they did in the photos. But the photos don't give you an idea of the straps lack of pliability.

good cord for the price
Fairly nice cord for your glasses. A little stiff but that is due to being made of pu leather. The rubber ends that connect to your glasses are the same ends found on a majority of cords. They do not work the best on my wide frame sunglasses from Oakley sunglasses but should be fine. Will look to replace the rubber loops with the slotted type.Over all, much better than most because I need the extra 5-6 inches in length to make it easier to use with hearing protection.Worth the price.

Stiff, uncomfortable
The cord is too stiff. While the material is durable, it creates an discomfort. The peripheral view of the cord is distracting and while the glasses are worn, the tail at times bumps my shoulder causing me to constantly toss it over the shoulder. I should have just spent a little more and bought a better functioning cord like a chain, the downside to the chain is that the material of the links can cause an allergic reaction or turn colors depending on the type of metal. I'm not pleased with the overall functionality of this item.

Too Stiff
These are the correct length, but are too stiff to really work. They don't hang naturally and tend to curl up into your face when wearing the glasses. I worked the material for a while trying to loosen them up, but to no avail.

Well Made eyeglass retainer.
I always hang my glasses around my neck as I'm a freelance artist working for an Old Line stained glass company in the South East. If I set my glasses down I'll miss place them for one reason or another. The rubber loops that go on the frame will eventually wear out so I keep some handy. These are well made and seem heavy duty as well.

These eyeglass straps are strong without being clunky and awkward.
They are sturdy. I use them on rather small reader glasses and wear it all day so I am not search for my glasses all the time. Using a cross body purse and often large scarves around my neck, I can be tough on eyeglass straps. These hold up well.

EXCELLENT QUALITY
This is my second set. The first set perished from everyday use over the years and grandchildren who like to grab reading glasses and yank them off your face causing retainer failure through no fault of their own :0).
