As usual, this is a good product sold at an excessive price. This is a consumable which is essential for the Festool product and is an unavoidable necessity, but the price is unnecessarily excessive and leaves a bad taste in the consumer's mouth which diminishes the true value of the product. The item ships well packaged and well protected and can be purchased with some confidence. The application of the product is self explanatory and it is difficult to get it wrong. The strip fits perfectly every time and is THANKFULLY able to last quite long if properly cared for because this stuff is NOT cheap!

Both my guide rails got cooked in storage over the summer and the adhesive on the splinter-guard strips let go (no one's' fault but my on that one). The replacement was easy install; I just rolled it out into place, pressed in down firmly and I was ready to trim it with the saw. Remove the old strip and cleaning off the old adhesive took longer than the install. As with all Festool items, the replacement strip works very, very well. As with all Festool accessories, they are very overpriced - which is my only gripe with Festool. A few months from now I'll forget about the pricing and be glad my guide rails are back at zero-clearance again.

This worked great for my festool track. Worth the money. I will be buying again.

This is a case of just buy the more expensive better quality the first time. I bought a guide rail from a aftermarket company to save some money and the rail its self is good but the guard was not and started pealing off shortly after use. if I had just bought the Festool rail the first place I am sure wouldn't have had to replace the guard so soon. So in this case price = quality.

J’ai acheté ce pare éclat pour ma scie circulaire Festool TS 55 et je regrette mon achat. Le pare éclat est censé réduire les éclats de bois lors de la coupe, mais il ne remplit pas du tout sa fonction. Au contraire, il provoque des éclats encore plus importants et abîme la surface du bois. De plus, il est très difficile à installer et à retirer, il faut forcer et risquer de casser le pare éclat ou la lame. Le pare éclat est aussi très fragile, il s’est fendu au bout de quelques utilisations. Je ne recommande pas ce produit, il est cher et inefficace. Je vais demander un remboursement.

E' un indispensabile ricambio per sostituire la protezione originale del binario guida Festool; può essere considerato un po' costoso (e forse lo è), ma è ben vero che mediamente va sostituito solo ogni molti anni (i miei binari, di prima generazione, risalgono a vent'anni fa, e questa è la seconda sostituzione della protezione antischeggia, che li ha resi di fatto come nuovi). Per inciso, a mio avviso si tratta del miglior sistema di guida per seghe circolari e fresatrici manuali nonché seghetti alternativi, negli anni imitato più o meno efficacementeda diversi produttori, e questa protezione ne è parte imprescindibile, dato che viene "tagliata" dopo la prima posa in modo da riportare fedelmente l'effettiva linea di taglio della sega, consentendo così l'elevatissima precisione che è un po' uno dei marchi di fabbrica del sistema Festool.
