I absolutely love this recording
I absolutely love this recording. Joe Gooch is finding his way with the band and other members of the band are in fine form. The songs are great and setting aside those "if it ain't Alvin, it ain't TYA" thoughts, this is a fine, rocking album with lots of great songs. This album is a fine way to add to the already considerable legacy of the band. If you love rockin', if you love the power blues, if you love great guitar solos, this will surely not disappoint.

Killer album by Classic Rock legends
New guitarist, but still great sound and music - maybe even better! I saw on here that one unhappy reviewer referred to this iteration of Ten Years After as "a cover band." Nice try dude, but cover bands do other people's music. This is some rocking good new stuff!She Keeps Walking, Why'd They Call It Falling, She Needed a Rock, and Angry Words - all great. Love this release.

It rocks - the songs and vocals are great - the guitar blazes - and that's All that matters!
Exhibit A of the new TYA. Hot guitar, great songs and powerful vocals. All the pc talk about Alvin Lee - you believe it if you want to. I listen to music, not advocates of the church of Alvin Lee. I know outstanding blues based rock when I hear it - and this is it.

Some ggod stuff
Evolution sounds like an improvement over "Now" ... a few slower songs to mix it up. I especially like the "Imagination" song. Don't know why samples aren't available here? go to Allmusic.com to play samples. Decide for yourself.

cover band
sorry i tried to listen to this and it fell short of the "real" ten years after. this is a cover band led by a very good bar band guitarist named joe gooch. this is in no was the quality that the great alvin lee was doing .Spend your money on any TYA music with alvin as he wrote the songs, sang the songs was the voice of TYA, the star of TYA and this is NOT and never will be TYA. nice try boys, still raping alvin.
