Bad Battery - Would NOT Charge
I was swayed by the lower cost for this battery for my Alienware PC. Do NOT do the same. The battery arrived with a 58% charge, but would neither charge to 100% or operate on battery power. I received a boot error that the battery was disabled. Spent 2 hours with Alienware tech support trying to get the battery to charge - updated BIOS, battery drivers and checked charging brick. Bought for $25 more a Alienware battery, installed it and the problem was solved. Unless you like taking your PC apart for battery replacement, do not be penny wise and pound foolish. Get a reputable battery branded as Dell or Alienware for your PC.
