Too light / unnecessary buttons
I like the styling of this mouse but it has two major problems that I strongly dislike. First, it is ridiculously light. It is so light that I’m constantly misjudging how much force is required to move it where I want it. Second, the side wheel is annoying. I’m not sure what function it is intended, but the one function it does provide is zooming in and out of web pages. Most of my work is done on the web and for the web. An errant brush of the wheel sends the page to a microscopic size. Other than this the wheel performs no function they I can find on the Mac.

Disclaimer: Out of the box review
I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical of how this mouse was going to perform. I bought it purely for the aesthetics. First off, the size is perfect--it's not too small and it's interesting profile still fits correctly in your hand. Second, and I'm not an expert on computer mice, but is incredibly responsive. My last mouse not very good, so maybe I'm just used to that, but this one is quick and accurate. (Something that I didn't read anywhere was that there's a button on the mouse that lets you cycle between five DPI settings on the fly, so this may even be a decent mouse for gaming--it's the silver button I assumed was just a "middle click".)Connecting through the included USB dongle was instantaneous and could not have been easier. Bluetooth AND the wireless USB connection is a great feature alone. The mouse feels solid and well constructed. The mouse clicks have that classic "click" sound to them, which sounds like a given, but my last mouse didn't have that sharp, responsive feedback. If you're on the fence about it, I say go for it. It's not very expensive compared to a lot of mice out there and it's unique style really sets it apart from all of the other mice I looked at.

On MacOS, pretty nice, yet some odd bugs
I had been searching high and low for a "magic" mouse replacement useable with the left hand due to that products lack of ergonomics and very buggy scroll behavior. I've used this mouse now for a couple weeks and it holds a lot of promise: it is ergonomically comfortable and has good battery life. Buttons are responsive and tracking is accurate. The tracking acceleration is non-adjustable and is a little too much for me so I have the speed set a little lower than I'd like (this I understand is very much a personal preference so if you tend to like more acceleration, you will like it). The scrolling I rate as only "OK." The scroll wheel hardware feels good, yet again the acceleration is not done well and so scrolling feels either too slow or goes too fast. Now, all the above low points I could live with, however the side mounted zooming wheel is about to make me give up on this. It is very easy to accidentally trigger, particularly when using left handed. Also, it sometimes goes out of control and zooms wayyyyyy out or wayyyyyy in freezing your focused application. Tragically, this feature cannot be disabled in the driver on a Mac and lofree support said not any other way either. Before throwing this out I'm going to try opening it up and cut the wires to the zoom wheel and side button. It's too bad!
