The Ghost Hunter's Field Guide: Over 1000 Haunted Places You Can Experience Paperback – February 8, 2011

A guide to allegedly haunted places all over the United States, mostly culled from the Internet. It deserves four stars for effort alone in collecting and putting together this massive guide, but there's no way the author had time to either visit every location or verify all of these stories. The "hook" is that it only lists places you can visit--no private residences. It's not as in-depth as guides to individual states, obviously, but it's a good starting point.

The book is exactly what the title says. The author succinctly describes haunted locations with summaries. He also includes the addresses and he uses codes (like A for Apparition, C for Cold Spots), so you know what to expect. I like his writing style: He gets to the point and leaves out unnecessary fluff. I think it's a good value for the price on Kindle.I recommend his book, "Ghost Hunting for Beginners," too.

Love this kind of stuff. Found some really interesting places to check out. Some even close to where I live. If u r interested in this kind of stuff get the book. Lots of places in the south but lots in the north too.no sure I believe in ghost but hey willing to check it out lol

So far so good. I haven't been able to finish this one yet, but love it so far and I have had some experiences at some of these places which makes it even better.

i bought this book as a gift for my boyfriend who is a ghost hunter and it has a lot of very useful information in it i love sitting and reading about all the haunted locations
