I bought this camera bag to use during a hiking vacation this summer as I don't like carrying packpacks.The bag itself seems like a good idea...waterproof, extra pockets, waist buckle, but in truth it is a bit cumbersome and clunky.To start with there is a very hard protective insert that lines the interior of the bag, it is so hard that putting anything inside of the bag or taking anything out of the bag that MAY push the limits of its width, it becomes a hassle. It is not easy to get things in and out if you have it tethered to your waist.Second, while the bag seems like a good size, I can only fit (barely) my 60D with a 50mm lens & a speedlite OR just my 60D with a long lens. the front pocket is virtually useless as you litterally cannot fit your fingers into it with the protective insert (there is no space) so thank goodness there are pockets on the belt.Finally, and more annoyingly, for some reason the designers of this waist belt have dicided to put on a new mechanism for tightening. I have never seen this before and there were no instructions for how to tighten the belt. It consists of strange velcro pieces that wrap around the other side, but not to the belt, they only attach to themselves. I figured out that you have to fold over the end and then velcro the belt, which seemed to do just the trick... until you put it on with the weight of your camera...then the straps begin to slide open, very inconvenient. In the end I will have to actually SEW the straps shut as I can't risk putting my camera into this. (see pics)If I didn't live abroad and have to deal with international shipping, I would probably be returning this product, but I guess I have to find a way to make it work.
