Soo much fun...
I heard about these on a dive forum as a way to improve in water fitness so I "bought them for my kids".. Never had so much fun in the pool and I hate the pool.. We had 4 adults and 3 kids playing with them, I honestly dont know which of us had the most fun..If you have kids buy, if you have friends you go to the pool with buy.. If you have no friends and no kids buy anyway you'll make some friends one people see you having fun with them

For encouraging swimming skills or just for fun!
My wife is a swimming teacher and uses these sinking toys in some of her teaching sessions with young children. When dropped in the water these torpedo shaped toys plummet downwards in an unpredictable trajectory. This encourages children to put their face in the water. As children gain confidence and coordination, they will eventually be encouraged to swim underwater to try and catch the toys.So they can be used to teach swimming or played with just for fun. Recommended!

Great selection - my son loves these!
We bought these for a holiday but also for my son to take to his swimming lessons (although he's also enjoyed playing with them in the bath!!). The quality is good although some of the printing on the torpedo fish is coming off, but doesn't affect how the toys work! The bag is really handy to keep everything in - totally recommend these, great for if you have a couple of kids to avoid squabbling as there are so many in the set! I just make sure I leave the sticks and seaweed ones to dry thoroughly before putting away as they have holes/are porous and I don't want any mould!

Awesome flying torpedo underwater toys
We bought these as an incentive to get our 6-year-old to swim underwater and boy, did that work well. These toys are amazing for such a simple-looking thing - you throw them underwater and they actually "swim" for quite a long way, like a dart or in fact - a torpedo :) I guess this is due to some clever physics to do with the weighting and the tailfins. They're solidly made and look like they'll last a while. We use them every swim now and kids of all ages enjoy playing with them. One tip though: we tested them in the white bath at home and they left blue streaks down the side (removable after a bit of elbow grease!) so best avoid throwing them "at" surfaces. Recommended.

Am I missing something here?
So, we used these in the sea, in shallow water, and I don't quite get what all the fuss is about. I was under the impression that it's supposed to be hard to catch them because they swerve and meander, but these just went plunk to the bottom and that's it. The thrill of it all? It wore off in 2 minutes.

Great entertainment value
I saw these being used on a family holiday. The kids had great fun jumping in the pool and swimming down to find who could find the most. Kept them amused for a long time. Ages, 5, 8 and 11. I was so impressed with them I ordered a set to use with grand kids in my local pool. My granddaughter aged 12 was on her own with just me and she spent ages diving down to get them which for me was great as she entertained herself. All I had to do was throw them in without her seeing where. I think the torpedoes are terrific value for money. Very impressed with them.

Lots of fun to be had!
Bought these to be taken away for some pool games and they went down really well, quite literally! The kids really enjoyed playing with these, launching them across the pool and diving to retrieve them from the bottom, fab little things, very basic but kept them entertained for hours!Unfortunately the paint does wear off a little quicker than I had expected, so only 4 stars from me

Great swim aid
I use this to help my daughter keep holding her breath under water. She is often scared when we go into the pool but watching this sink helps. My only criticism is that it doesn't glide so neatly under water as the picture shows - it just kind of sinks. But it's still very useful and feels sturdy / good quality.
