Vial Protection by Securitee Blanket (Short, Red)

Good option to protect insulin bottles from breaking. However, it is a bit too long for my Humalog bottle. The downside is, every time I use it, I have to take it out of the protective cover, which makes it not very protective. Because my insulin bottles are most at risk for getting broken, when I take them out to use them.After getting this, I found a previous protective cover for insulin that I prefer. It is hard plastic, that fits over the bottle perfectly. PLUS, it is see through, so when the bottle has a small amount of insulin in the bottle, so I can see how to tip the bottle to get the most out of that bottle, without just getting any air in the syringe, and I never have to take the bottle out of the protective cover, until the bottle needs to be replaced. But I haven't been able to find this kind again. I originally bought two of this kind, one in Humalog/Novolog wide/short Red, and one in Lantus, skinny/tall Blue, from Walgreen's several years back.But the Securitee Blanket looks like it could work great, especially if someone could figure out to make into an insulin cooler as well.

I have not dropped the glass insulin bottle since I have purchased this protective cover. The only reason I did not give a better rating is because I do not know how well it protects the glass vile when dropped. It is a good fit and therefore does not allow the vile to slip around inside the protective cover.

We were not happy with this product. The securitee blanket is a good idea but its not something I would recommend. The blanket doesn't show how much insulin you have left and to find out you have to pull the vial out to see. It would protect the vial from breaking if you dropped it. Thanks

I bought this for mom to protect her insulin vials and to help her distinguish her quick acting from 70/30. Red one is for the quick acting in her case. Works great.

Works as described! About two weeks after receiving this I dipped a vial onto my ceramic tile floor...bounce, bounce, bound...not break! Thank you for a wonderful product.

Not nearly as nice as the one I was previously using from the same company. Is not made as nice and does not even have the logo on it.

These are a great product. I would highly recommend to anyone using insulin bottles. We use them on both of our insulin bottles.
