Vial Protection by Securitee Blanket - Short Lime Green

This may seem like an unnecessary product - I mean, its a very small amount of padded material for almost ten dollars - but it is actually one of the most useful and essential products I have ever purchased. My child is a diabetic, so insulin storage is a daily part of my life. No matter how careful I am with the insulin vials, it is inevitable that I will accidentally drop it at some point. After losing a couple of vials of expensive insulin, I looked online for some way to protect it, and found this "Securitee Blanket" brand insulin protector.This insulin protector sleeve fits my insulin vials perfectly. It slides onto the vial easily, and provides the right amount of protection, as I've already dropped a vial a few times since receiving this insulin sleeve, and it did exactly what it was supposed to do - protected the vial from breaking when it hit my tile kitchen floor. Before buying this, I tried to make my own type of protective sleeve at home by cutting up a kitchen sponge, but it only sort of worked, and never fit quite right. This insulin sleeve fits perfectly, protects my insulin vials completely, and is essential to my home now.

Due to a neurological problem, I am quite clumsy. When I started on insulin, I worried that I would drop the vial. Since I often drop things, this is no idle concern. These vial holders are the perfect solution. As others note, the vial fits snugly into the cushion. However, it is easy to squeeze the vial out to inspect the insulin and to remove and/or change the vial. But the cushion does as advertised. Yup. I already put it to the test. Fortunately, there was no problem with the cushion in place.I got a tall blue one for my Lantus and this short lime one for my Humalog. Simple color coding to help avoid the mistake of using the wrong vial.Definitely recommend this.

Horrible product and even worse customer support - none. I got one of these and it was the wrong size. I ordered a short and received a long. The box said short so all I wanted to do was inquire and ask a simple question. Nope. Amazon sent me to the vendor and the vendor sent me back to Amazon. It's going back, thumbs down. Not worth the aggravation. Beyond that, the design is poor. I certainly wouldn't want to drop a vial in this "sleeve", I can't see it protecting it much. It's just a thin neoprene cup. Certainly not worth the money.

The short size fits a normal 10ml vial perfectly and offers great protection! They don't stand up very well, but I usually just drop them in the original box the vial came in.

I thought this was a wrap but the insulin bottle snugs inside of it! Perfect for protecting my dog's insulin bottle. It has worked well when I have butter fingers.

Bought this for a friend as he kept accidentally breaking insulin bottles. He loves it and it works great for him and protects his costly insulin!

This item is excellant much more than I expected.It keeps my insulin vial steady when you need it out and does not slip from your hands.Ive just started using this type of insulin,medicare will not cover the pens I used,I was getting free pens due to my low income disabled.

These little insulin "coozies" are a life saver!! No more worries about dropping the vial and shattering the glass. Insurance only covers one bottle a month, so dropping and breaking the vial could cost hundreds of dollars! These coozies fit snuggly over the vials and you can easily draw the insulin with them on. Especially helpful with younger kids who may be drawing their own insulin. Be sure to order the proper size for the type of insulin you are using them for. I also love the colors so it is easy to grab the right vial. If you have a diabetic in the family, especially a child, these vials are a must have!!!
