Used for pond
As advertised and the shaft was longer than the ones used for pond liners. I had to use it in my pond because I made an above ground pond with 3/4" ply which was too thick for conventional bulkheads. It worked great.

Perfect for Hydroponics
I use these for my hydroponics (RDWC) set up. I drill a 3" hole in the containers and connect them with PVC via the screw thread. I've had no leaking.
