Royal Caribbean Jamaican Hard Dough Bread

This is the BEST hard dough bread!! I recommend more than one loaf at a time, trust me, you'll want more when you finish the first one you eat :) It freezes very well, I have never had an issue with freezer burn, nor any issues with the bread when it arrives. It is always shipped quickly and packed well. This is FRESH bread! A personal favorite is grilled cheese with Havarti, Munster, and Swiss and spicy tomato soup!! Yum!! My family has been buying bread from this bakery for years. Whenever we visit Jamaica, which used to be every Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and several family vacations in between, this is where we got our bread. I grew up on this and now sometimes I just HAVE to have it! Every time I've ordered from this bakery they have included a handwritten note, which in my opinion is a wonderful, personal touch, and usually another small surprise as well :) I have received useful, thoughtful cooking utensils as well as a calendar and a cookbook:) All of their baked goods are fantastic! I have been ordering this bakery's bread through Amazon for years and will continue to do so.

I usually don't write reviews but this one definitely deservd it. My bread was soft, moist and fresh, it was as if I'd walked into a store and bought it. I can't say enough about how great the quality and consistency of this bread is. If you love Jamaican hardough bread then you will NOT be disappointed. I will continue to buy because I'm so happy with my purchase. Glad I found it!!!!!!!!

I miss this type of bread. It's hard to find in any supermarket.I was surprised to find it here. I need to make time to shopin the West Indian section of my county where it may be cheaper.After 3 days, the first loaf is almost done.Toast or sandwiches, its full body won't fall apart as you take each bite.

My husband and I love this bread! It reminds him of his childhood. It’s so fresh and delicious. This bakery has always made really good products. Since we no longer live close enough to visit in person, we order online. The loaves are huge. We order several loaves and freeze some for later. They thaw out nicely on the kitchen counter and the taste and texture are not affected by the freezing process.

Package arrived today 12/11 by FedEx. Inside the packaging box the bread was in perfect shape and included was a huge calendar and a Christmas card from the staff and owners of the bakery which was such a nice added touch!! Nice surprise. I am of West Indian background so this kind of kind generosity, going the extra mile is something I know is typical of Jamaicans. It was nice to see. I missed my hard dough bread!!! When I opened the box and the smell came wafting out, I was so happy!I WILL be ordering more from this bakery. I highly recommend

If you like wonder bread, but very soft and dense, this is the bread for you..delicious..makes great grilled cheese..since i make mine lightly toasted, i have to finish melting the cheese in the microvave a few seconds..worth the price..wish the shipping wasnt so much, its almost as much as the bread order..they sent me a free jamacian music CD as well....

My mother is Jamaican and has approved of this bread. She is 83 years old. All I need to say that this is a good product.

The bread was great. I really enjoyed it. However, it way too expensive. Because of the price I would never place another order.
