Bad geometry at lowest seat setting
The verdict is still out, but I’m leaving towards agreeing with another user that the geometry is just wrong. Our son is a little too small for it still because with the seat at the lowest, the pedals almost touch the seat on the upstroke and they are behind the seat. This makes it impossible to pedal the bike unless the seat is higher.I’m going to adjust it to see if our older son will be able to ride out

Great choice for the very young cyclist!
Ordered this bike as a third birthday gift for my little one, who had been riding a balance bike almost daily for about a year. I thought it would take a few weeks for him to warm up to it, but within 24 hours of assembly, he was riding down the block and stopping on a dime! Things I like most about this bike: assembly was easy; the bike is very light, the handbrakes fit little hands perfectly, and the design and style is beautiful. I think it is one of the only bikes you can get in this size (I got the 12”) that is a freewheel bike with no training wheels and so light. We are very happy with this bike.

Great quality
Birthday present for my 3 year old. Husband put it together easily. Its heavy, but my son doesn't really need to pick it up. His inseam is 16", so I got this small bike (which is the same size as his Yvolution balance bike) so he would easily transition. Because of the 12" tires, he has to pedal a lot. But he picked it up day 1! I'm just worried it's too small and too heavy. The larger 14" bikes had minimum inseam of 17", but in hindsight I would have gone with that and just let him work a little harder at learning. Its a great bike, very sturdy and good quality.

Great sturdy bike that is not too heavy
My son went right from a stride to this bike. Great sturdy bike that is not too heavy. Our daughter is now using his strider and envision next spring getting another one a size up, so both kids have a pedal bike. He's 4 and using the pedal bike. Our neighbors child is 3 and using this bike after the strider. So happy we decided to skip training wheels and rear pedal brakes.

Don't waste your time with the coaster brake bike
My daughter went from strider bike to riding the Cleary in one day. I am one proud dad. This bike was an investment but worth every penny !!! Don't waste your time with the coaster brake bike, get the one with the freewheel

Great first pedal bike after a Strider bike. High quality and fairly light. My 3 year old loves it.

Excellent bike for beginners who are relatively short
Got this for my 3.25 yr old son (37" tall, in seam =15") hoping for him to graduate from his Yedoo too too balance bike. The bike felt a bit heavy in the beginning (Its twice as heavy as the balance bike). But you can easily see why (really good quality frame, brakes, wheels etc.). My son did not like it initially due to the heaviness and kept preferring his balance bike in the beginning. We kept offering it and one fine day he took it to the park riding it like a balance bike.Seeing other kids at the park riding their pedal bikes was the motivation he needed. 15 mins is all it took him to figure out the pedaling stuff. Here is a short video i made to show this 15 min journey from balancing to pedaling! (https://youtu.be/ssLs1k1NmGE).6 days later, he did his first 5k ride with me on a fairly hot day. The easy gearing on the bike is really good for beginners to learn pedaling. Also, liked the fact that it has a freewheel and not a coaster brake. My son frequently pedaled backwards in the beginning and having a freewheel helped a lot. Highly recommended!
