Katy Sue Continuous Dragon Scales Silicone Mold Texture Mat. Create Dragon, Dinosaur or Fish Scales with Polymer or Air Dry Clay, Sugar Paste, Gum Paste & Fondant. Mold Size 6¾ x 5 inches.

I am far from a cake decorator and this was easy enough for me! We ended up doing 6 layers to this cake and the mold vertical length was the perfect height. We used white chocolate fondant and after getting the hang of the mold, I was able to quickly crank out panels and piece them together pretty nicely on the cake. Made a 9 yo very happy!

Use it to make jewelry. Air dry clay and acrylic paints. The mold is not large but is just right for what I wanted. Please make sure you pay attention to the dimensions listed!

LOVE how my dungeons and dragons themed wedding cake turned out for my customer. The mold was easy to use, great impression mold. LOVE

The mold was flexibly and easy to work with. Awesome for molding clay for polymer clay.

It was a strange wedding theme. Dragons and Dr. Who! But it was a HIT! First time making a character with fondant. This silicone mold was SO easy to use! I was so impressed! Quick ship and awesome product!

We've used this product twice so far - first for oven-bake clay (image) and second for cake fondant. It worked fantastically for the clay without any powdery substance to keep the clay from sticking. We used powdered sugar to keep the fondant from sticking. In both instances we ended up using a layer of parchment paper in order to push the medium down into the mold. Without the parchment paper, the clay and fondant stuck to our hands and we ended up getting double and triple mold imprints. That's nothing against this mold, I think it's just a silicone mold issue in general and this is the first time we've used silicone molds. Would buy again!

All the pictures of this product makes you think the mold is a good size but it’s very small. It’s well made but it is very small

The mold is great for fondant, chocolate, and sugar craft (cold). Works great for texture but make sure that you understand the detail of the product. Have some powered sugar or cornstarch available to make sure that the material comes out easy in order to get the fine detail.

Worked well, I had to patch the fondant over the cake because of the size of the mold, but due to the shape this worked quite well. Washed nicely, very happy with the product and delivery. I placed the fondant over the mold, then rolled the icing on top and cut to size.

Usei para decorar um bolo em pasta de açúcar. O efeito é muito bonito e fácil de fazer. Serve, por exemplo, para fazer o efeito de escamas de dragão.
