My lip balm arrived broken, and the card inside requested I contact Vintage Traditions directly before making an Amazon return. They quickly provided a free replacement plus a free sample tallow balm of my choice (I chose the Epic Balm which is my skins loves, and I’ve already re-ordered!).I appreciate the excellent customer service and high quality natural products without any junk. The tallow lip balm makes my lips soft, lasts all night, and I know I’m not ingesting toxic ingredients. I recently learned that plastic lip balm tubes contain PFAS, so the cardboard tubes are a much healthier choice!I have both the vanilla and orange flavors. The vanilla is subtle but nice. The orange is a little more noticeable and my favorite, but keep in mind that it comes from essential oils, so it’s more of an herbal kind of orange flavor, not a sweet orange flavor like you find in synthetically flavored lip balms.

I can't express how much I'm in love with this lip balm. I have dozens of different brands, always looking for one that actually works...and I finally found the BEST. With this one, my lips are in heaven...dewey soft. The scent is a perfect waft of peppermint. The ingredients are minimal, amazingly moisturizing and all natural. My upper lip lines are instantly softened in appearance. This is more of a beauty treatment than a lip balm, so I don't mind the extra cost. The other brands I have are going in the trash today.

This lip balm is amazing. I am trying to get away from the traditional Blistex, Carmex, Aquaphor... and this is a fabulous product. The company itself is great to deal with and the lip balm doesn't need to be applied as frequently as some of the other products. I like it and hope it continues to work well. I am even praying it restores some natural moisture over time. Fingers crossed!

A small amount goes a very long way. If you smell or taste it, then you've used too much. Use sparingly.

This is the Holy Grail of lip balms. I usually find myself reapplying my other lip balm all day but I only use this tallow balm once in the morning and I'm good to go all day. I even applied it before going out to shovel snow and didn't need to reapply at all. I'm so incredibly impressed with this product.

The first scent: smells like tallowMy boyfriend grew up in a farm when he was younger. I told him to smell it and he immediately gave a gross look. I asked what happened and he said “smells like this animal fat butter that my parents used to make”. Then I smelled it and it did not smell like vanilla at all.However the packaging is amazing and it is moisturizing. But I wouldn’t buy this again unfortunately because I don’t want to smell like cow fat.

When my lips are chapped, I put some on and it works great:)
