Review: Good Cutter - Realized I never done a review on this. Bought it three years ago in 2023. Got it for working on diamond art. And it cut the clear paper just like I wanted it to. Nice handy cutter. It has help up well. But I am going to have a buy another tip since it's ceramic and had worn down. But it still cuts like the first time I used it. Easy to grip. And like that it has a cap to cover the tip. I recommend it.
Review: Nice EXACTO knife - I have to read the pamphlet that came with this a bitt better before I willl feel comfortable using it. It is very sharp and has attachments and would hate to cut myself with this blade. I am going to be using this for diamond painting therefore I need it to cut out the paper from the area I will be working on. I think this is very durable, will last long and is a good value for the money spent. One thing that does bother mer though is that it doesn't have any safety measures in place such as the blade retracting into itself or the handle if danger is detected. I know it sounds silly but quite honesly its the only way to make this a safe product for anyone under adult age to use.

**Q: How many sheets of paper would it slice through (compared to the Slice 00100 safety cutter, which does 1 sheet at time)? Thanks!**
A: Hi pigsee - thanks for your question - the blade on the Precision Cutter is slightly longer vs. the Safety Cutter, so it has the capability to cut several more sheets at a time depending on the thickness of paper you cut ... assuming you're cutting standard printer paper it would be around 4 sheets maximum - or one or two sheets maximum of children's construction paper depending how hard you're pressing down.  If you need the ability to cut deeper we would suggest using our 10518 craft blades.   Hope this helps - thanks so much.  // Team Slice //

**Q: Can this cut through fabric?**
A: Yes and No.  If the fabric is thin and taught, or it is compressible, and there is an appropriate substrate beneath the fabric, yes it can.  If not, no it can't.  It is intended to provide a thin precise cut.  If the fabric is thick it could prevent the small blade from cutting all the way through it or it could bunch up and bind.

**Q: Can you cut through plastic stencil blanks**
A: Hmmm....it cuts through acetate like butter but I am not sure about stencil plastics. For thicker items I usually go straight to my utility blades rather than attempt with this. No reason why, merely habit.

**Q: what's the recommended surface to use under what you're cutting - a self-healing mat, a ceramic tile, a glass mat,...??**
A: Don't use glass or tile or it will chip the ceramic -- use either a self-healing mat or just put a few pieces of thicker paper underneath what you're cutting and it will work great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing at cutting paper but bulky tip means it can be hard to see precise cuts

This is a great (and safe) little paper cutter. It is really sharp on paper and cuts with a lot of ease, but it won't cut skin (I tried), so it would be perfect for giving to kids for crafts also. The blade is very tiny, so some thicker papers you may need to run a few times just to get a really clean cut, but the cuts it does make are smooth. The main thing I haven't gotten used to yet is after years of working with X-acto knives, being able to see the tip of the blade and see exactly where I'm cutting is a lot harder since the blade is so small and short and a bit "embedded" into the orange tip. Also because of this, when using a metal ruler or other implement you do have to adjust a bit where the ruler sits because you'll be running it against the side of the plastic rather than the blade itself, so some precision cuts along a ruler may not necessarily land where you want them to, but the tiny and super sharp blade are great for free hand cuts.
