The media could not be loaded.  I have been using an "old style" peeler for many years and it's gotten dull. This peeler is super fancy and stainless steel, so it's meant to last and stay sharp.Trying it out for the first time, I took a video to test it and I'm a big fan of how easy it is to use!1) Dishwasher safe (I hand washed mine the first time, but have since put it in the dishwasher)2) Two sides to the blade - regular peeling and the other side makes strips that are thin for a Julienne style cut3) I JUST discovered that you can use the parts that stick out to get the eyes out of potatoes or dig out any bad spots4) handle has a loop at the end to hang your peeler up5) Easy to use at any angle slicing away or towards you, either hand. (My Mother in Law is left handed and sometimes helps in the kitchen, so that's nice and flexible)I tested out peeling a cucumber and it peels really fast and efficiently! This will make short work of peeling carrots, apples and even making some strips for zucchini and other items you want a fine strip for Julienne style salads and steamed veggies. I was so happy to receive this peeler at at a discounted price during a promotional period in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. The vendor was fast in shipping. I got it within 2 days of my purchase. I was so excited to get it, hoping it was going to make peeling and julienning easier. I used it yesterday and it frustrated me. The heads swivel too much and when they do lock in place its at an angle that doesn't reach the vegetable right. It took me longer to use that than than it did to use my knife. However, it was my first time using it and i was in a hurry to get my order out. The blades are sharp and will give me the result i want when the heads actually stay where i need them, but every 4 or 5 swipes the head rotates and gets stuck which takes up time to readjust it. I will use it a couple more times to see if it was just me trying to work too fast.

the idea id good, but it put together very poorly. there isn't any safety feature. i scraped and cut myself too many times and bled heavily. i had no choice but to throw it away. i couldn't even donate this item because it's unsafe. they need to redesign this product a little better with safety in mind.

Love this peeler! Very sharp and easy to use. I bought it to make home-made potato chips and it works wonderfully for that. While playing around with it I found the julienne side makes great shoe string potatoes and when a pile is put into a pan of hot oil it comes out like a birds nest of crunchy potatoes. Kids love them. Also works wonderful on onions, gives a nice thin slice for sandwiches .

The cutting edge is not smooth so it you are going to use it for thin pieces, forget it. It is not as flexible as it says and quite simply, it does not work as advertised. It is a bad design.

This is a wonderful peeler and I have used it to make "zoodles" and potato chips so far. I am very happy with my purchase. This peeler is definitely "sturdy" and well made. It is also not too hard to clean, as long as you rinse it right away after using it.

Awful! Doesn't work well, and it constantly flips around so the wrong side is up. It's also really large so it's quite awkward to even hold. I'm really sorry I bought this.

This peeler does exactly what it is advertised to do. It is strong and well made. I find that this peeler is a little too much for peeling potatoes. It takes me longer because this peeler really takes a bite out of the peels. I can't really peel them fast but it does peel them well. For thinner peels like carrots and potatoes, I like the Rosle Fine Swivel Peeler better.
