This set of 3 therapeutic activities includes: Mixed Emotions game, That's A Good Question game, and Feelings Flyer game and chart. These versatile games are a great value, and suitable for a variety of settings. These creative interventions can be used by school counselors, cognitive-behavioral therapists, and play therapists for individual, group and family therapy. The games are short and easy to play, but can be adapted for many therapeutic interventions, including homework assignments (instructions and suggestions included.) All of the games can also be used by parents. The colorful materials and game format makes it easy for children to open up and share feelings and thoughts. It's a great way to promote understanding and unity between family members.. Also included are several bonus items: additional feelings charts, The Cool Down, and Are You a Careful Thinker. The latter two activities teach kids how to calm themselves down when angry or upset.

Not a set for elementary age kids.
This set isnt great for kids. I would say teens at the earliest. Except for the sponge disc that you throw back and forth, that is child appropriate. An example of the type of subjects in the main game is " Toni's husband is a soldier. He is leaving next week to go overseas for 18 month". Much too mature for kids.

Recommended by our Group Home therapists to put in our family therapy area, it is a great game. Came in an unmarked white box, but that does not bother us.
