The media could not be loaded. We have a shed in the backyard where our lawnmower/lawn tools is kept. Our backyard is sectioned off and the shed is behind a fence and trees so it can't be seen from the house at all. Recently, I went out to discover it open and some of the tools missing. But there isn't power access out there and its way out of range of the wifi so a real camera wasn't really an option. I looked at various solar security floods but ultimately decided those might not deter people since its pretty clear we wouldn't see the lights come on from the house. This is a pretty good solution, it doesnt need any wiring and the motion sensor works really well. Its got a constant on light setting (which gets brighter at movement) and a only when movement detected setting.I would say from its mount which is about 8 feet up, it detects things within 15 feet. You can approach directly to its side and be out of the sight of the detector, but that would be true for a camera as well. It seems like its visible detection range is exactly what a camera pointing/hanging in that way would be able to detect.Install can be tricky if you are mounting it on a tin shed, given tin wont naturally hold thins as well as an actual wall but it wasn't too hard to set up. Much easier than needing to run wires to a new building to set up lights.It's plastic, I would recommend hanging it somewhere its covered so that weather cant destroy it. We get freak hail storms in south Texas sometimes and i'm pretty sure this wouldn't survive one, at the very least the solar panel would probably be damaged. So take that into consideration when you make hang the item, try to get it someplace with a little shelter but that will also let its solar panel charge the battery.

Motion sensor doesn’t work. It doesn’t light up at night and it is not a camera. I was under the impression that it was a camera. Light doesn’t come on for motion or when it’s dark out. I want my money back.

I am OVERLY impressed by this device for the cost. I'm super picky... but wow. The minute I pulled this out of the box, I knew it was going to be a game changer.The Eastern side of my house gets very little sunlight, but the panels still pull enough from the morning to run the lamps at night... and they're bright. We have deer in the neighborhood and they "trip" the lights all throughout the night (which is perfect, exactly what I want)Really, overly impressed... considering purchasing two more to outfit my house with

Great product. Appears sturdy and well made. Worked extremely even with the solar panel having very limited exposure to the sun after taking it out of the box(less than 2 hours). As it looks like a cctv camera it also adds that little extra bit of security to the home.Turn the on/off button on the back of the solar panel. It took me a few minutes to work out that you simply press it down to turn the panel on. The instructions could also make this clearer. Apart from that it is a very good product.

This solar motion sensor is a very good addition to my PoE security camera system. It can be installed at the places you wished. I have it on the front of my garage where is difficult for me to put up a PoE camera. The light is power full, the motion detection is great. The battery get charged even without direct sun light to the solar panel. I like this solar sensor and highly recommend it.

the product received was missing a vital component, the antenna. The product itself is of good quality, with appropriate brightness, and generally looks good. The brightness level, although adequate, is not as bright as other products I' ve bought, but it is "okay".I will attempt to contact the seller and request the missing antenna to see how responsive they are at making things right.

I looked around for a solar light which is not very dim and is solar powered and came across this one. It fits well on our garage and has ample light to look around who is there in dark. The motion detector is a little bit extra sensitive but that is okay.

it does not work had to pay someone to put it up I have to pay someone to take it down and it's too late to send it back to Amazon so I'm stuck with something I can't use and does not work

War am Anfang skeptisch, habe die Lampe 2 Tage bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aufgeladen, war dann vom Licht bei Nacht beeindruckt.Leistet auch gute Arbeit wenn die Sonnenstunden nicht so lange sind.

Good product, that does exactly as advertised. The LED’s give off a bright light and the flashing red LED and the dummy antenna give the impression it’s a wireless security camera.I purchased 2, for the front and rear of the house, but when I went to purchase 2 more for my parents house the price has increased by £10 above the price advertised!UPDATE: Down graded to 1 star as after 2 months both lights have failed! All help or advise has failed to get them working again. AVOID.UPDATE 2: Have had 2 requests for information regarding this product and in both cases the lights have stopped working. This seems to be a trend. These lights are poor quality rubbish and should be avoided at all costs and save yourself time and money.
