Desert Sage Smudge is known for its light woodsy herbaceous aroma, infused with natural qualities suitable for purification of body, mind and spirit. Among the many species of the Sage plant that grow in different parts of the world, the High desert sage and its brother plant, the white sage are the most famous for their spiritual benefit of cleansing negative energies which accumulated in the surroundings and the astral body. The bundle is prepared in an ancient Native American method, where the sage is harvested fresh and then bundled up using a cotton thread. After the stick is prepared it is then hanged or put to dry for a couple of weeks.. As well as being burned, desert sage is often held, worn or kept with sacred objects to ward off negative influences. Native American tradition says that wherever sage is, evil spirits cannot enter.

NOT LIKE THE REAL DEAL
ABSOLUTELY THIS STUFF SMELLS AMAZING AND BURNS GREAT. BUT AS I GREW UP IN THE SAGE LANDS OF CALIFORNIA WE PICKED OUR OWN AND IT JUST IS SO DIFFERENT THAN THIS. IF YOU HAD NEVER BURNED FRESH DRIED WHITE SAGE THIS WOULD DO THE TRICK, BUT THE FRESH STUFF HAS MORE AROMA AND ONE LEAF BURNS NICELY SMELLING UP THE WHOLE HOUSE ALMOST. THIS STUFF HAS MORE OF A SMOKE SMELL, NOT VERY WOODSY.

Nice enough, but a bit small. That's OK, because the price was certainly right. Quick ship, and nicely fragrant, great for your purification ceremonies.

They are great and the price is great my mail carrier put them on the side of my house and it rained that day they got wet i had to dry them out they are a nice size and i will order more they arrived rather fast as well

poor quality
I usually order my white sage from you and receive excellent products. But this time the size of the smudge sticks were very small only about 2 inches in length and they did not burn well at all .. still used them being that i do regular cleansing on my home and family members .. but i will have to try someone else for all my needs on sage from now on.. very poor product this time.
