Laird USB Dongle, Bluetooth, Bt800, V4.0, Hci - BT820

It is difficult to know how to rate this item. As a bluetooth dongle, it may work great. However, for the purposes I purchased it for, it doesn't work at all. So I'll give it 3 stars.Pros:Good size and bright LED to see statusLaird support is very easy to work with, same day responses, and they were as helpful as they could be.Cons:- This isn't designed to be used by end user consumers. It is designed to be used by OEMs to add bluetooth to their products.- Advertises HID Proxy as a feature. However, HID Proxy only works over BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). There is a very small selection of BLE keyboard and mice available.- It doesn't show well in the picture. The end of the dongle has a rounded bulb like shape that may interfere with other USB devices plugged in near this device.As I stated, this device may work flawlessly for regular BT features. The right radios are certainly included. However, the one feature I require is essentially useless in this model.
