It got to the point that reading one of her new stories is like re reading any of her previous ones. Maybe because she publishes so many so fast it’s become like a mold to follow on each story. And the price of her books is higher now so to read the same things while paying more makes no sense. I might as well go back to any of her previous books.

For me, sitting down each month with a Lani Lynn Vale book is like catching up with a group of old friends. I’ve been reading her books and these characters’ stories on a monthly basis for so many years now that I’m totally and completely invested in them and this world. The KPD Motorcycle Patrol series is a next generation series based upon the stories of the children of the lead couples from one of Vale’s early series, KPD SWAT.Vale gave her own spin to the hero with a reputation trope by giving her readers a really good—but gravely misunderstood—guy. Logan was a good man in a bad situation, and my heart went out to him because of it. Katy Roberts, the daughter of Luke Roberts, Logan’s boss, saw past all of that. She had her own past marring her present, though, and the two of them were kindred spirits of sorts.Lani kicked off this romance with an unconventional first meeting – I’m specifically not calling it a meet-cute because it totally wasn’t. What did shine through, though, was the natural chemistry between Logan and Katy, and once they got past that first meeting, their attraction was clear in the way that they were both drawn to each other. There were a lot of similarities in their lives, although the circumstances were different, and this was a perfectly matched couple that I was rooting for from the start. Lani always includes a suspenseful element to her stories, and while I completely enjoyed this aspect of the story, for me, the romance between Katy and Logan was the star of the show.A wonderful blend of the past and the future, Vale layered heat, heart and humor into this sweet, sexy and suspenseful romance. Hide Your Crazy is a winner in a promising new series from Lani Lynn Vale. Five smooches from me!

I have been anticipating Katys story since the epilogue of her parents book, Center Mass. We got a little glimpse of her in a few of the previous books, but this one....sigh....her story is simply wonderful. I love Logan and Katy together. Logan's heart is bigger than anyone knows and Katy is nothing like I expected. Not gonna lie, back in Center Mass, I thought she was spoiled and self centered. I actually was pissed that she might have ruined it with Luca, BUT, she isn't at all like you think. This story is well written, as always, and I did not see any grammar errors. Lani always provides her readers with well developed stories and characters. I highly recommend starting at the Free Bird series.Lani, thank you for feeding my monthly reading addiction with fabulous characters and stories. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Hide Your Crazy by Lani Lynn Vale is the first book in her brand new KPD Motorcycle Patrol series. This is my first book by Lani Lynn Vale but it will NOT be my last. I am absolutely intrigued with the peripheral characters to this story knowing they must have a book out there just from the snippets in this one. It seems like this is a next-generation series to the author's Code 11-KPD SWAT Series and also a spin-off or set int he same world as her Bear Bottom Guardians MC series.Anyway - back to the review for HIDE YOUR CRAZY - Sexy, steamy and a little bit dangerous - Katy has a sleepwalking issue, a dog that only listens when it suits him, and a new upstairs neighbor who paces. Add in the crazy ex that is about to be released, the neighbors crazy ex-wife and a screaming baby and her life is as crazy as you can get. But throughout it all - the bond of new friendship and attraction that blossoms between Katy and Logan is pure and honest. The supporting "cast" is just as quirky and the tale is addicting. Loved this! Slightly obsessed now. Enjoy!

This is the first book in the new KPD Motorcycle Patrol Series. It does incorporate some people from previous books, which was nice to see. The focus on this one is Logan Gibbs, a divorced officer that is a part of the new motorcycle patrol unit with a heart of pure gold, and Katy Roberts, the blunt and loving daughter of Luke Roberts SWAT man extraordinaire. These two just meshed very well throughout the book, like peanut butter and jelly or macaroni and cheese. Logan is often hated or gossiped about due to some rumors and miscommunication and Katy listened to what the actual truth was, not once judging, just being there for him. They each had their issues and baggage, but it brought them closer together and helped them bond. I really enjoyed this book and am so looking forward to reading the next in the series, which I believe is Piper and Jonah's book.

Katy and Rowen were some of my favorites of all of the kiddos from the earlier books, probably because we had more interactions from them than some of the other kids. This is Katy's book, and it was everything I could have hoped for her!Katy is a daddy's girl. But she also has her daddy's tempter and stubbornness! She had an amazing life, until those two traits led to one of the biggest mistakes of her life. Now, she is putting her life back together, moving on, finding herself again. Until she runs across Logan, one of her dad's officers. Logan's life has been a comedy of errors. One bad thing right after another, all pile on top of each other. And it doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon. Together, their problems seem to multiply, but it doesn't seem to be as bad!This book had me in tears, both emotional and from laughing so hard! Katy and Logan are absolutely perfect together, and their personalities seem to mesh so well! I just couldn't help but love them and their story. It was a fun book, in a crazy, warped sort of way. And just when I thought I had it all figured out, I realized I really had no clue what was coming next! This was definitely a good start to a new series, but I still enjoyed visiting characters from previous books!

Katy & Logan will have you in stitches, this new KPD series continues in the same slightly crazy style as the previous KPD series and this is what makes it so good!The characters have quirks, they are perfectly imperfect which makes them real and lovable. They are a little reckless, a lot loud, cringingly crude and emotionally unstable...you never know what they will do or say next and this is what keeps the pages turning. The plot may be a little out there and the personality traits may be irritating in real life but this is FICTION and it is fun to escape into the Motorcycle Patrol world for a couple of hours mayhem including cops in tight pants, sleepwalking antics, crazy ex-wives, sexy handcuff play, disobedient but cute dogs, shoot outs and lots and lots of steamy encounters and dirty talk...not sure what more you could ask for in a book, other than book 2, 3 and 4 please!

The beginning of a new series starts with a bang! Katy Roberts all grown up and finding her Logan! Loved this book

I adorabed this book. loved seeing new ans old characters. Lani never ceases to amaze me. I was pulled in for the very beginning and gripped until the end.

Nice story that happened all a little to quick and a little to expected . It passed the morning for me. I will read the rest in the series .
