The areas left wanting are the handle and the sheath. My hands are medium size, but I find the handle a little short. More contouring to better fit the hand would be helpful also. The sheath is well constructed, but the main downer is the use of velcro, instead of snaps, for closures on the retaining straps. The quality, and fit/finish of the knife are excellent. The blade shape, stout design, and reasonable heft are all things I really like about the knife. While the issues stated above keep a great quality knife from an overall excellent knife, they are not deal breakers, and I'm still very happy with the knife.

Just what I was expecting from HH. This thing is a tank ready for lifetime of abuse. The hollow grind makes it sharper than you would think for a knife this thick, but it's still not a razor by any means. If you're looking for a precision cutting tool, this isn't for you. This is a workhorse meant for some heavy use.

This is a fantastic knife, I may be biased because I am Australian but I also own a lot of knives made in America and have used them extensively so I know a little about knives. Every person who I know that owns one of these knives loves it, its tough and holds its edge and will take anything you can through at it. I have used this knife to cut firewood, finish of pigs or my US brothers call them hogs, cut rope and a myriad of other things. I have often thought that this is a Ka-bar on steroids and a new generation fighting/field knife.
