Knee Brace (Xsmall left (5.5-6.5")

My furkid is a maltipoo who took a flop down our stairs which caused a luxating patella. Her vet recommended the walkabout. I ordered the xs though slightly bigger than expected, Her vet said it was okay to keep so no need to exchange for a smaller size. It has done its job well. I received it a day or two earlier than expected which was good as my lil one could hardly walk She has been wearing it now for 2 weeks all day and removed at night. At first she did walk sad to say pretty funny. She did get used to it after a few days. We are into 3 weeks of an anticipated 6 week recovery I have also incorporated acupuncture into her healing process. Her vet practices eastern and western medicine. I opted for both in hopes of no surgery. At this point it looks like she will not need surgery. The quality is descent. I have not as of yet washed it.

Sizing chart is inaccurate. If you measure to fit the thigh, it's so big around the knee and hock that it doesn't support anyting. Item was purchased for a partial CCL tear in the knee. It's basically neoprene like what you can buy in the store for humans and definitely not worth the money... . Item returned for full refund.

Wasn't a very good fit for my 80lb black lab bought the XL.

Once XSmall modifications made, this brace worked well on my small mix breed dog. Probably a XXSmall size might have fit better. Difficult to measure dog for correct sizing. However, overall I was pleased with the support it gave. Dog was comfortable with it.

Unfortunately, my little girl (10-year-old Yorkichon) who weighs 12 lbs tore her ACL. My vet recommended a brace instead of surgery and it was the best advice ever. $50 or $2,000? She has to wear this brace for 8 months and will be perfect once again. She has no issues wearing it all the time and completely normal, with complete quality of life. I do not let her jump up on the furniture, I pick her up. Going down is never an issue, but small stairs she does and has no pain at all.

I liked it was easy to use. However after trying a couple times It was not supportive enough for my dog.However, as I was preparing to send the item back I realized as indicated in picture the band stretched out after only wearing it in my dog 2-3 times. That type of quality is unacceptable . For that purpose I won’t try the brand again.

Quality is decent. Comfort, dog seemed to not be bothered by it. It looks good. But it kept my dogs leg stable so he could heal. So no complaints.
