lightweight fishing gear for kids
I personally don't like the plastic made pole handle because of its odor. However, the fishing pole is very lightweight so it is very suitable for kids. The first reel I received is OK and work well at first, but later I took my kid out for fishing, and then the reel got stuck and the string won't be able to pull out after several casting. I had no backup for this so my child has no way to continue in that day and totally ruined our schedule. However, later on, the customer service did promptly contact me and will send a replacement to us, so I decided to give 4 stars.

Good for beginner
I bought this fishing pole for my 4 years old daughter, she is very exciting. Although these fishing pole's attachments are a little bit complicated for a kid, I think she can handle it. It's light and perfect to kids. she first time to use it, but she doing good. It was easy to swing the fishing pole out. It give her a great fishing experience.

Save your money or drop a few bucks more for a legit product with better quality control.
This is another great example of a poorly made Chinese product rating hyped by people who likely either didn't buy the product or who work for the company. Recieved the reel and on inspection, water stopped out of the reel casing. Since I needed it, decided to use anyway for sons campout. Reel locked within 30 minutes of using casing tangling issues with line. Spinner snapped shortly thereafter. Will be seeking a refund.

Well the tips broke on 1st and 2nd short fishing trips
I bought 2 of these: one for each of my boys. The tackle box and supplies were okay, reel on one of them didn't cast smooth. Biggest problem is the tip on both poles broke. We're talking gentle use while putting bait on. Also, the tip of poles is made out of a material which cracks and gives slivers.

I tried this a few times and it never really casted smoothly like other reels i've used.

Everything in one bag and easy to carry for kids
Seems like a great little pole for a starter fisherman(kid). I bought it for a 4 year old as a Christmas present. I'm not sure how well it will hold up because I haven't given it to him yet, but I checked it out before I wrapped it and it seemed pretty tough and sturdy. I like that it all fits in the included little backpack.

FISHING POLE WITH PUSH AND RELEASE REAL
PURCHASED AS A GIFT TO ONE OF MY GREAT GRANDSON. WHO IS TOTALLY INTO FISHING. THIS LOOKED LIKE A PERFECT GIFT BECAUSE IT HAS THE PUSHDOWN AND RELEASE ON THE REAL WHICH HELPS PREVENT BACKLASH OF FISHING LINE. (HAD ONE OF THE SAME YEARS AGO. MY WIFE LOVED IT.) GRANDSON WAS TOTALLY EXCITED WHEN HE OPENED THE BOX. CALLED ME AND SHOWED ME EVERYTHING IN THE BAG. HE IS HAPPY SO AM I.
