Exactly what the doctor ordered.
I needed something for the USB port in the center console of my vehicle. I just received the Echo Auto and wanted to properly mount it. But, I also needed something where I could reach into my center console without breaking the cord or (worse) the USB port. I did some research and this little beauty fit the bill perfectly. It arrived super-fast and fit perfectly. Love this stupid little cord.

Problem with it.
Installed the 90 degree extension cable. It introduced a problem consistent with maybe an intermittent connection inside the cable or the plugs. It caused the windows for all three of my USB drives to open randomly. Went back to my other adaptor and everything's alright.

Perfect to reduce strain on your usb socket and tidy up usb cables
Perfect to reduce strain on your usb socket. I use my laptop as my workstation at home and it sits on a stand keeping it above the desk. Since my usb cables have to route down from the laptop to the desk, a straight usb cable would bend the end of the cable and the usb socket as there is nothing holding the weight of the cable up when it has to drop down to the desk.This adapter is thick and sturdy, it appears to be well made. Works with USB 3.0 as designed.

Worked Once
Way to cheap and not worth the hassle. Seemed fine at first blush but when when trying to unplug it after the first use the entire female usb assembly came out of the cable. Tried to put it back in but some of the wires must have gotten pulled too far and it no longer works.

Doesn't deliver power
I got this for a Honda Odyssey second row entertainment system (mi box s) and it doesn't provide power to the USB. The little Android TV box works plugged directly into the car, but not with this.Returning.

Exactly what it is
Product arrived on time. Upon opening, I noticed wire shield was pulled slightly from crimp. Still worked, not like it's I'll see it all day anyways.
