Make sure the size you choose ends with a "5", not a "0".
Had to send back as the 65cm version of this stool was too tall for either me or my husband to comfortably sit on. He is 6ft and I'm 5ft 4". The 55cm comfort stool was perfect for both of us and very comfortable. However, the 55cm version gets a full 5 out of 5. You can fit 2 in a rucksack and it still feels like you aren't carrying anything. Just be aware that all the negative reviews on here seem to be for the basic model of the Walkstool. They are cheaper and made in China rather than Sweden. The basic models are 50cm or 60cm. The comfort models (or Amazon have misspelt and put confort) are available in 45cm, 55cm, 65cm, and 75cm. These are the one to buy.

Walkstool Comfort 65
These are very expensive compared with the £2.50 El-Cheapo mini stools you get from camping shops, but largely speaking you get what you pay for. The Walkstool is made in Sweden and is very good quality. This stool extends to nearly double its storage length which gives a much more comfortable sitting height. Similarly, the large area of seat material also greatly improves comfort. Although I rated it 5-stars, it is not perfect. If you extend the legs too quickly, you can overcome the end-stop and the leg detaches. This is a minor inconvenience as the legs are designed to be removable so they can be replaced if need be. Spare legs are available - at least from the manufacturers. The only worrying aspect is that the instructions warn about uneven loading of the legs on uneven ground, which could cause a leg to bend (and therefore need replacing). I do not know how easy it is to suffer this mishap as I have always been careful in this respect. The loads that this stool can take (250kg, if I remember correctly) is vastly better than the El-Cheapo stools mentioned earlier, one of which suffered a catastophic failure of the seat material, neatly dumping me backwards onto the ground. This incident is what led me to investigate better stools, and so far I have not regretted buying a Walkstool.

Great for supporting my ample backside and very easy to carry.
I am 5' 7" and this was a little too tall for me but managed to get it swapped elsewhere for a slightly smaller one but with same weight bearing capacity.Small and easy to carry yet full height when in use and solid as a rock under my more than ample backside.Expensive but you get what you pay for.

FAIR PRODUCT, BUT VERY PRICEY.
So far, so good. I doubt the rubber feet will last long, but we'll see.

Excellent.
Excellent and light, a well constructed item but you get what you pay for as it is quite costly against alternatives, although I have even confidence this will outlast all of the competition.

Perfect portable seat
Bit pricey but worth the bit extra perfect for touch line seating. Tried cheaper seats but all ended in disaster light to carry have purchased a second one for the wife she loves it too.

Recommended without any reservations
An excellent product. Sturdy as hell (I am large and tall, weigh 200kg), light and easy to retract. A life saver for long walks, events and the like.

Brilliant!
Very comfortable! Easy to assemble and light to carry. Bought for my parents in law when we have days out, or when shopping - perfect.
