TENMOER 18V 6.0Ah BL1860b Replacement Battery with LED Indicator Compatible with Makita 18V BL1830B BL1860 BL1840B BL1820

I bought this battery and the 5.0Ah version at the same time. This battery is noticeably heavier and the battery gauges on both show different use on a two-battery circular saw. Last time I used this battery the display remained at 100% after a day of moderate use on an impact driver and a few circular saw cuts. I think the voltage displays in the two packs might need to be calibrated differently. At any rate, this thing works, runs the saw really well, lasts more than a day of heavy use by me, and I don't mind the weight on my impact driver.Edit: 9 months of hard use, both the 5ah and 6ah are holding up well. Once I dropped my impact driver off of a roof onto concrete ~16ft below and the battery and tool survived with no issues. Battery life appears to be comparable with OEM Makita batteries, haven't noticed a loss of capacity (which I wouldn't expect given the number of charge cycles). I've also purchased some generic batteries with the four-bar battery indicator and I found them sorely lacking. Despite the slightly inaccurate charge indicator, I upgraded my review to 5 stars. I'll purchase more of these batteries in the future.

Just received the battery, so I can't say much about charging or capacity. My initial experience is that the fit is so tight I can barely get it on either of my tools and it's almost impossible to mount on the charger. I tried it with two tools and two chargers.

This was the first third-party battery I've purchased for my Makita tools, and so I was a little cautious. But the value compared to the Makita seemed too good to pass up. So I gave it a try. Very pleased so far.This is a 6.0 Ah battery in the same battery size as my original 3.0 Ah Makita BL1830 batteries. It also has the digital battery life readout, which is a slight benefit over the standard Makita 5 segment indicator. The first couple of installations onto my tools were a little bit tight, but it's fine now. Works perfectly with my Makita charger.Time will tell if it holds up over the long run, but so far so good. If I experience any issues I'll sure to update this review right away. So if you don't see any updates, that means everything's still working great!

Liked the digital display showing battery life. This battery does charge in my makita charger but doesn't quite slide in like my OEM batteries. I've only used about 4 charges...I'd say its comparable to a makita 5ah battery. I'll update review if needed.

So far, this seems like a good alternative to the OEM Makita battery. I do like the digital % readout over the four-bars style... Haven't yet been able to get a sense of how accurate that readout is, or if it will hold up as well over numerous charges. If this one does die before the original Makita batteries, I'll update this review; otherwise, this is a good alternative!

I bought this to upgrade my daughters power wheel to 18V from 12V. She rides this thing for 2 or 3 hours before it dies. Only had it a week, but so far so good. VERY happy with this purchase. Works great in my Maklita tools also!

These are reasonably priced replaced for your old worn nicads. They give good power and stay charged when not in use for a couple of months. I recommend that yu9 just recycle those old nicads and use these. a great inexpensive alternative to the lithium change out option.

Great battery. Long life. Well made. Certainly good price. I thought it would turn out to be garbage, but it's not. Works perfectly with my Makita tools. Charges quick and lasts a long time. Great value for the money
